Watching your baby struggle with eczema can feel incredibly overwhelming, especially when you feel like you’ve already tried everything 🩷

Eczema in babies and children is very common and often shows up as dry, inflamed, itchy skin that can affect both their comfort and sleep. While there is no cure or a “one cream fixes all” approach, the right skincare routine and consistent barrier repair can make a significant difference in managing flare ups.

When home care products no longer seem to help, it is time to seek professional help, do not suffer alone.

Watch till the end for some of my most recommended barrier creams for dry or eczema- prone skin

National Skincare Education Day reminder:

Dermatology is so much more than facials and the pursuit of “glowing skin.” We diagnose and manage life-altering conditions like lupus, skin cancer, severe eczema, severe skin infections, acne, hair loss, pigment disorders and more.

Healthy skin is not just about appearance. It’s about comfort, function, healing and helping people feel more like themselves again.

The skin is the largest organ in the body —let’s treat it that way.

Same age. Different habits. Very different skin 👀

What you do daily shows up on your skin over time. Smoking reduces oxygen to the skin, breaks down collagen and accelerates signs of ageing, while also worsening concerns like dullness and uneven tone.

On the other hand, simple habits like protecting your skin from the sun, getting enough rest and taking care of your overall health can help your skin stay stronger, brighter and more resilient.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about understanding that your lifestyle choices play a big role in your skin journey.

If you’re looking to improve your skin, it starts with the right habits and the right guidance.

🎵 “Tell me what I gotta do to please you…” — every doctor trying to balance patient happiness with safe, ethical medicine 😅

Yes, we want instant glowing skin, urgent help, perfect timing, same-day bookings, instant replies, miracle results and scripts on demand… …but sometimes the most caring answer is: “You need a proper review first.” OR “We will speak with the doctor once she is done with consultation and get back to you “

Because good dermatology isn’t rushed medicine — it’s safe, thoughtful, evidence-based care 🩷🩺

Be honest which request are you guilty of?

Trust us, we love helping you… but some requests truly test the team 😂

Luckily we are no Boyz II Men, enjoy the concert to those attending.

High maintenance habits… for a low maintenance life 🩷

The truth is, healthy skin doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of small, consistent decisions that may feel like effort now, but save you time, stress and money later.

From daily sunscreen to investing in the right treatments and sticking to a routine that actually works, these are the things that keep your skin balanced, predictable and easier to manage long term.

It’s not about doing the most… it’s about doing the right things, consistently.

Which of these are you already doing? And which ones do you know you need to start? 👀

Pigmentation can be one of the most frustrating skin concerns to treat… because it’s not just about what you see on the surface.

It’s about what triggered it in the first place and how consistently you’re treating it.

If I’m being honest, most people aren’t struggling because their skin is “difficult”… they’re struggling because of small habits that are working against them every day.

✨ Skipping sunscreen
✨ Overloading their skin with too many actives
✨ Chasing quick fixes instead of sticking to a plan
✨ Not understanding what’s actually causing the pigmentation

And the truth is… the longer it’s left unmanaged, the more stubborn it becomes.

The good news? With the right approach, pigmentation can be improved and maintained.

If you’re feeling stuck, this is where a proper consultation makes all the difference. Let’s treat your skin based on what it actually needs, not guesswork.

Your skin journey is personal… and so are the challenges that come with it!

Whether you’re dealing with acne, dryness, sensitivity, pigmentation or conditions like eczema and rosacea, it can often feel overwhelming trying to figure it out on your own.

But you don’t have to.

With the right guidance, a proper diagnosis and a tailored treatment plan, your skin can improve in ways you may not have thought possible. I’ve had the privilege of walking this journey with so many patients over the years, helping them move from frustration to confidence.

Wherever you are in your skin journey, there is a way forward and I’m here to help you find it.

“How long did you give it?” is one of the most important questions I ask..

Skincare is not instant. Many active ingredients take time to work with your skin before you start seeing real, lasting results. Stopping too soon or constantly switching products can leave your skin stuck in a cycle of irritation and no progress.

In most cases, your skin needs a few weeks to adjust and up to 8 to 12 weeks to show meaningful improvement, depending on what you are treating.

Patience and consistency will always outperform quick fixes.

If you’re unsure whether your routine is working or just not right for your skin, that’s where guidance makes all the difference.
