Feeling anxious, numb, overwhelmed or stuck?
Your nervous system may be responding in one of four survival states: fight, flight, freeze or fawn.
This is your body protecting you, but when stress goes on too long, the body can get stuck “on guard”. You can feel it as tight shoulders, a clenched jaw, shallow breathing or poor sleep.
Stress doesn't only live in your head; your body holds it too.
Slow, mindful bodywork can help:
✨ Give your nervous system a chance to shift out of “alert” and into rest
✨ Ease the physical tension that builds up in fight or flight
✨ Gently bring you back into your body if you tend to freeze or switch off
✨ Give you time that’s just for you, especially if you’re a fawner who always puts yourself last
Healing starts with feeling safe again, and for many people that begins in the body.
If any of these responses feel familiar, I’d love to help you unwind. Message me to book. 💛
