Miss Gimmie 2026 - What a French affaire it was! Flowers and florals and beauty and softness - an absolute feminine event! But I have to tell you about my dress... It was worn 54 years ago as my Granny's 'Mother of the Bride' dress to my Mom's wedding! What a special privilege to have worn it. It was a nostalgic moment as I wished she could have been there to witness her granddaughter wearing it! I gotta say that crimplene was a serious fabric that quite obviously lasts. Wearing a dress that's a year older than me... now that says something!

Cleansing and toning are the first step to the daily regime. It is washing away the day! Make-up, pollution, environmental factors and perhaps a little gym perspiration. I therefore find it best to double cleanse at night. And end it off with the tonic lotion! While we sleep, the skin has the perfect time to restore and rejuvenate. Dr Baumann cleansing milks are free of mineral oil - it gently but thoroughly cleanses the skin without drying. Suitable for all skin types. For those who love to splash on water, this mild cleansing gel foams and does not dry out the skin! To end off, use of the tonic lotion removes traces of residue and supports the physiological pH value of the skin. The slight astringent effect assists to maintain refined pores.

Dr Baumann skincare overview

Skincare is only healthy and safe when the ingredients used are compatible and identical to the skin.
It is vital to know what should be in the ingredients for best skin preservation. Let's also look at what should be left out:
• colourants
• lanolin
• perfume
• chemical dyes
• UV filters (chemical sunscreens)
• Chemical preservatives
• Mineral Oils
Why do we refer to this range as Bionome Quality? According to the Duden German dictionary 'Bionomy' is the 'Science of the laws of life'. These laws are the qualitative basis for the development of all Dr Baumann Cosmetic products. The following goals are therefore set:

30 years of beauty therapy, possibly 45000 hours of conversations and I am beyond grateful for the deeper than skin levels of friendships forged! After school I planned to be a missionary, but God had other plans. Instead, I have met women who have shared their deepest stories, crying with heartbreak. Other times LOL moments at how life can be. I have seen walls come down, vulnerability expressed, conversations at deepest levels that only two people in a small cubicle can share! The best part of my day is when heavy hearts walked in and burdens had lifted walking out. My mission field looks glam, but the real and raw are behind the scenes. Mission accomplished if I can remind her of her worth, encourage her to go on! Sometimes a verbal or silent prayer that God would meet her in that moment. So yes, I am going to tell her what her skin needs, but the slogan of my salon: rejuvenating your soul - is the added bonus - not because I am good, but because these are just my hands, but this is HIS work - the best CEO I could ever have!
