Last week, was invited to return to Tygerberg Campus in her role as an accredited Clinical Supervisor, to serve as an examiner for the 2nd year Occupational Therapy practical examinations.

It is always inspiring to witness the passion, dedication, and growth of the next generation of Occupational Therapists as they develop the knowledge and clinical skills that will one day make a meaningful difference in the lives of children/their future clients.

At our practice, we are very passionate about investing in the journey of future OTs. This is why multiple of our therapists at LKOT Inc, are affiliated with Stellenbosch University’s OT department. Whether through student supervision at clinical placements, curriculum development collaboration, mentorship or examination support - we believe that nurturing emerging professionals strengthens our profession and ultimately benefits the communities we serve.

We love it when Facebook reminds us of events like these…! For eight consecutive years, our practice used to facilitate quarterly training workshops, with teachers and parents. Our workshops were about topics that attendees requested, we had guest speakers and lucky draw prizes as well as exhibitors. 🤩
