I'd like to recommend this beautiful book written by a former client of mine (confidentiality not required as she writes about her experience in therapy with me in the book).
For anyone with experience of pregnancy loss or infertility, this is a moving read. Also a fabulous insight for those who know or are supporting someone who has experienced this kind of loss. Jennifer's honest reflections and opinions about what helps (and what doesn't!) are a helpful guide for a friend, partner or family member.

It is difficult to come to terms with the fact that we may have had an abusive childhood, especially if the abuse is invisible. Manipulation, triangulation, gaslighting and parentification all have long term effects on how we show up in relationships and how we feel about ourselves.
