Headway Natal is a non-profit organisation assisting survivors of Acquired Brain Injury and Stoke and those who care for them. Our Aims:

1.

To provide information and support to people who have an acquired Brain Injury,

2. To increase public awareness and understanding of Brain Injury.

3.To promote co-ordinated multidisciplinary approaches to Brain Injury screening, acute care, assessment, rehabilitation and community re-entry, with clear accountability at all stages.

Happy World Physiotherapy Day! 💙 Today we celebrate the invaluable role physiotherapists play in restoring movement, promoting independence and improving quality of life. In rehabilitation, their dedication, compassion and expertise are an essential part of helping individuals regain confidence and participate more fully in everyday life.

A special appreciation goes to our resident physiotherapists, Bronwyn and Fiona, whose dedication, patience and commitment to our patients are seen and valued every day. Thank you for the important role you play within our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and for continually supporting our patients along their rehabilitation journeys. 🫶🏼

We also extend a special thank you to the Life Westville Hospital team, Silindile Nxumalo (ENA) and Wadile Myeni, for generously providing free health screenings for our patients and staff in celebration of World Physiotherapy Day. Your time, care and contribution are sincerely appreciated. 💙✨

Rolling into good times! 🎳💙
