we already know that MS is related to concussion. directly to brain. now, we have this new research. also interesting. make us all think... hummm... gut, yeah!. you know what also was discovered in the Large Intestine? specialized cells that are exactly the same we have in the brain. so, we can speculate on a direct relation with nervous system (which produces nitric oxide). interestingly, the best results to MS or any autoimmune disease is a protocol addressing phlegm and damp. the phlegm itself contains fire(inflammation). the damp blocks the kidneys (adrenal and hydrogen sulfide). strangely or not, 900 years ago autoimmune diseases where unknown. other guts....

MS researchers are focusing on the content of the gut’s microbiome as a possible contributor to the body’s autoimmune attack on its nervous system

scientists continue to "discover" fire. another organ... but this one is interesting. see... it's where i use my needles. we know, also, that In 1900 Dr. Tang Rong-Chuan(唐容川)translated “interstitium “ as 網膜(wangmo) and thought it is San Jiao (Triple Burner).
now... if we apply wave theory and a complementary transmitter path, the Primo Vascular System, there's no limit on what we can achieve!

Scientists use a new microscopic technique to look at the interstitium, the tissue surrounding our organs, and bring its true nature to light. A fresh look at the middle layer of the bile duct led Neil Theise to a discovery. He didn’t see what he was expecting to see, a dense wall of connective...

HOW QUANTUM MECHANICS IS CHANGING EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT OUR LIVES
Quantum physics a field of physics that is pointing to something far greater than the materialistic world that we once believed to be the basis of our existence. It is also disproving our original perception of space and time.

Below are some of the major properties of quantum mechanics and the implications they have on the world around us.

1. Quantum Entanglement: When two sub-atomic particles cross paths with one another, they become “entangled.”

This means that their properties become linked with one another. When these entangled particles are separated (even millions of miles or light-years apart), what happens to one particle instantaneously happens to the other particle.

What this means: that information is travelling far faster than the speed of light to be communicated instantaneously across vast distances. It defies what we previously knew to be possible, and also hints at the notion of telepathy having the potential to be scientifically studied. Also, it offers new perspectives in Internal Arts practice.

2. Atoms and subatomic particles can be in two places at once. In 2012 Dr. S. Haroche and Dr. Wineland won the Nobel Prize for using quantum mechanics to prove that electrons can be in two places at once. This theory was tested to 1 part in 100 billion in terms of accuracy. This officially made it the most successful physical theory that ever existed.

What this means: In theory, this notion correlates with the Many-Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics. This theory implies that all potential realities and possibilities already exist, and that there are potentially an infinite number of parallel realities. This theory was brought to life by a scientist named Hugh Everett.

This also means that any singular occurrence is only unic in this reality and all imaginable variations are occurring in the multi-verse. It also means that Alice in Wonderland is not fiction, is a partial description of other reality, accessed by someone's senses.

3. In the quantum world, everything behaves as both waves and particles! So sub-atomic particles can behave like matter or move in wave patterns. The most mind-blowing part about this is that particles behave usually like waves, and like matter when we focus attention.

The act of focusing, paying attention, is what changes the behaviour of the particles.

What this means: This means that consciousness literally influences how a particle behaves. This gives interesting speculations about Internal Arts practice. Curiously, ancient wisdom always stated that "where the mind goes, the chi follow".

4. Quantum particles have the ability to move back and forth through time. Very recently, scientists at the University of Queensland were able to simulate photons travelling through time. In one case, the photon was sent through a wormhole to interact with itself in a previous state. In another, a photon traveled through regular space-time to interact with a different photon.

What this means: Quite simply, time is a construction of our mind. It does not exist in quantum field. What exists is movement, position. Our five senses are very limited in the way that they allow us to perceive the world. Classical physics and much of science is based on finding proof from conducting experiments and observing their results.
But we interpret our observations based on our limited five senses. Quantum physics is beginning to demonstrate that there is so much more outside of our current mainstream perception of reality.

Time and space aren’t what we have made them out to be. They are not linear functions.
This also opens the hypothetical doors to the possibility of "time travel".
If these sub-atomic particles are able to do this, and we are made of sub-atomic particles, what implication does this have?

One thing I have always found funny about mainstream science is that it prefers to ignore the miraculous and study the ordinary. When astonishing events take place that challenge our foundation of scientific beliefs, scientists that wish to explore them are often condemned by their peers and community (like Rupert Sheldrake).

We know that science is based on proving things through measurement and calculation.
But if what we are perceiving is limited because our five senses only provide a piece of the entire picture, maybe it is time we began to focus on studying what is out of the ordinary.

Quantum mechanics is currently challenging and uprooting some of our belief systems that have previously been based on the limitations of our senses. Rather than looking at the external world, science is now beginning to investigate the internal world in the form of microscopic particle behavior.

To contemplate that these particles are behaving this way and these particles are what form the world around us is truly mind-boggling

In this first stage we will work on only eight. I must stress that, with daily practice from students, they will have most benefits from Chi Kung. But a more spiritual understanding and correspondent amazing effects of it's practice will take time to integrate. You must work hard.
What we are going to pratice:

1. Lifting the Sky
This pattern is also found in many other kinds of chi kung. This is not surprising because "Lifting the Sky" is one of the best of all chi kung exercises.

2. Shooting Arrows
The holding of the hands is in the “One-Finger Zen” hand form, which is a typical Shaolin hand form. If you see someone holding the hand in the from of a fist with one finger sticking out, you can reasonably conclude that he has not learnt it in a proper way from a Shaolin master.

3. Plucking Stars (Separate Hearth from Heaven)
An illustration can only show the outward form of chi kung. Once again, I wish to stress that chi kung form alone is not chi kung. Chi kung is the art of energy management, and the form is just a tool or means to implement energy management.

4. Turning Head
If you think that this exercise is just for loosening your neck muscles, you are thinking of it as a physical exercise. As a chi kung exercise, it is used literally to cleanse your head and nervous system.

5. Thrust Punch
Besides developing powerful punches for martial art, this exercise massages and strengthens your heart. Correct breathing and making the appropriate sound are necessary for obtaining the desired effect.

6. Merry-go-Round
If you wish to revitalize yourself without having to take pep pills, this chi kung exercise may help you. It stimulates your “water” energy at your ming-men, or “gate of life”.

7. Carrying the Moon
Many of my students love this exercise the most. It makes you look and feel young, and enhances your nervous system. You can have these benefits only if you can generate a shower of chi or vital energy down your body with this exercise.

8. Nourishing Kidneys
Ask a typical western doctor, and he will tell you that your kidneys have nothing to do with s*x. Ask a Chinese physician, and he will tell you that your kidneys have everything to do with s*x. In fact, the Chinese medical term generally used to describe sickness related to s*x is “shen-kui” which means “kidney injury”. “Why were the Shaolin monks interested in s*x?” you may ask. No, the Shaolin monks did this exercise not because of s*x, but because “Nourishing Kidneys” also enhances their intellectual and general vitality.

What is Chi Kung?

Chi kung is the art of developing vital energy particularly for health, vitality, mind expansion and spiritual cultivation.

What is Shaolin Chi Kung?

Practised by Chinese emperors for centuries, authentic Shaolin Chi Kung is now available thanks to Master Wong Kiew Kit, heir to this tradition. It consists of a system of exercises that, through synchrony of movement, breathing and awareness, produces a mental and physical relaxation and actively influences the flow of vital energy or Chi. Like Acupuncture, it is based on the paradigm of Chinese Medicine.

The first benefit derived from a regular practice of Shaolin Chi Kung is to treat various types of pathologies, including so called degenerative diseases. Its efficacy has been proven in the treatment of depression and insomnia, stress and related disorders, back aches, cardiovascular problems, hypertension, diabetes, female sterility, arthrosis and certain types of cancer.

Simultaneously, Shaolin Chi Kung increases vital force, expands intellectual potential, fosters mental serenity and spiritual joy leading to a happy longevity. Therefore this practice has not only therapeutic intents, but is also suited to all those who wish to keep good health, increase vitality and fully develop their own potential.

What is the difference between Qigong and Chi Kung?

They are merely different spellings of the same thing. Chi Kung is the usual English spelling whereas Qigong is the Romanised Chinese spelling.

Are there many types of Chi Kung?

Depending on how we would define “types”, there are two, three, four, five, six, hundreds of or thousands of types of chi kung. Some people divide chi kung into two types: quiescent and dynamic, or internal and external. Some into three types: quiescent, dynamic, and quiescent- cum-dynamic. Others into four types: standing, sitting, lying down, and moving. Still others into five types: Buddhist, Taoist, Confucian, medical, and martial. Some add populace chi kung to the five to make six types. There are various schools of chi kung, such as Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung, Shaolin Damo Chi Kung, Taiji Eighteen Steps Chi Kung, Flying Crane Chi Kung, Fragrance Chi Kung and so on. Sometimes, people may refer to different chi kung techniques as different types of chi kung, in which case there are thousands of them. Hence, it is understandable that there are also different levels of attainment in the various types of chi kung.

Is Chi Kung religious?

No, the Shaolin Arts are non-religious. Throughout history, Shaolin masters have come from various religious backgrounds, including Buddhist, Taoist, Confucian, Christian and Muslim. There also have been masters who have claimed to profess no religion.

Is Chi Kung the same as Tai Chi Chuan?

They are different, although Taijiquan (if it is practised the way traditional masters practised it) makes extensive use of chi kung. Basically, Taijiquan is a martial art, whereas chi kung is a collective term for various arts of energy, which may or may not be used for martial art purposes. The movements of some chi kung types resemble those of Taijiquan, whereas many other chi kung movements are totally different from typical Taijiquan movements.

How can practising Chi Kung cure so-called incurable diseases?

According to the Chinese medical paradigm, there is no such a thing as an incurable disease, although a patient may be incurable if his disease, even a simple one, has done damage beyond a certain threshold. No disease is incurable because it is our natural birth-right to overcome all types of diseases -- if our psychological and physiological systems are working the way they should work. Illness occurs only if one or more of these natural systems fail in their functions. When all our systems are functioning naturally, the Chinese figuratively describe this condition as harmonious chi flow, i.e. the energy flow that supplies the right information to every part of our body (and mind), that provides the right defence or immunity when needed, that repairs all our wear and tear, that channels away toxic waste and negative emotions, and that performs other countless things to keep as alive and healthy, is functioning the way it should. If this harmonious chi flow is disrupted, illness occurs. The forte of chi kung is to restore and enhance this harmonious chi flow, thus overcoming illness, irrespective of the labels one may use to define its symptoms, and promoting health, which the Chinese have always considered to be more important than curing diseases. It is significant to note that the claim of chi kung to overcome illness and promote health is not based just on the above philosophical explanation, but on thousands and thousands of practical cases. In a more western thinking, we can say that chi is also ATP (adenosine trifosfato), nítric oxide, correct citric cycle, balanced sodium/potassium, calcium/magnesium, etc.

How is Chi Kung related to Zen or meditation?

There are three aspects in all types of chi kung, namely form, energy and mind. If you practise only the form, without the energy and the mind dimensions, then you are merely performing physical exercise, strictly speaking not chi kung, for there is no training of energy. For an effective control of energy, you have to enter what is called in modern terms "a chi kung state of mind". In the past, this was called "entering Zen" or "entering silence". When you are in Zen or a meditative state of mind, you can, among other things, tap energy from the cosmos and direct the energy to flow to wherever you want in your body.

We will be practicing Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands. They were taught by the great Bodhidharma in 527 CE to monks at the Shaolin Monastery in China when this First Patriarch of the Shaolin arts found the monks weak and often sleepy during meditaion, which is the essential path towards enlightenment.

The Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands are fundamental chi kung exercises that can bring tremendous benefits if they are practised as chi kung.

But if they are practised as physical exercise, which is often the case nowadays, naturally the practitioner will only get the benefits of physical exercise. The crucial difference between chi kung exercise and physical exercise lies not in the outward form (which can be the same for both types of exercise), but in the internal dimensions of energy and mind. If one does not know what these internal dimensions are, it is unlikely that he (or she) has practised chi kung, although he may have performed the outward form for years.

At the Shaolin Monastery, these Eighteen Lohan Hands evolved into a kungfu set called “Eighteen Lohan Fist”, which forms the prototype of Shaolin Kungfu today. Nevertheless, the Eighteen Lohan Hands continued to be practised as chi kung exercise.

Because of its long history, there are many versions of the Eighteen Lohan Hands being taught today. The Eighteen Lohan Hands taught in Shaolin Wahnam School are:

Lifting the Sky
Shooting Arrows
Plucking Stars
Turning Head
Thrust Punch
Merry-go-Round
Carrying the Moon
Nourishing Kidneys
Three Levels to Ground
Dancing Crane

recently i have a surge of cases related to immune system (autoimmune deseases) and others related with motor control. they all related to unbalance ATP and nitric oxide. AND hydrogen sulfide. what is hydrogen sulfide? kidney qi! H2S is part/produced in kidney/adrenal system. in our medicine kidney qi is vital to life function.
ancient formulas like "you gui yin" and "zuo gui yin" restore and nourish kidney qi(both yin and yang).
now, western science is catching up. so many horrible deseases related to it.

Hydrogen sulfide has gained recognition as the third gaseous signaling molecule after nitric oxide and carbon monoxide. This review surveys the emerging role of H[2] S in mammalian renal system, with emphasis on both renal physiology and diseases. H[2] ...

[sic] "A cell can produce energy in two ways: aerobically, in the mitochondria, or anaerobically, in the cytoplasm.... Warburg discovered that in the presence of oxygen, cancer cells overproduce lactic acid. This is known as The Warburg Effect.

Mitochondrial energy production is far more efficient, capable of generating 18 times more energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) than anaerobic energy generation.

Another simpler way of explaining Warburg's discovery is that cancer cells are primarily fueled by the burning of sugar anaerobically. Without sugar, most cancer cells simply lack the metabolic flexibility to survive."[sic]

Enter Acupuncture. Using specific protocols we can help the body modulate ATP (Qi), restore and balance the Citric Acid Cycle and help preventing the mutation of cells. An invaluable wepon to mantain health.

To the communities of Nelspruit, White River and all Lowveld!

For those who are skeptical of acupuncture, I would like to start by mentioning many world class athletes and MMA fighters from all over frequently resort to acupuncture for the sake of treating pain and dysfunction.

Acupuncture can definitely improve the healing process of the body and, as many can attest to, there’s nothing mystical about it. Allow me to get a bit technical.

It decreases the body’s ability to perpetuate the inflammatory cascade. It stimulates the body to manufacture and release endorphins and enkephalins. It softens muscle spasms to relieve pain. It stimulates the body to manufacture and mobilize the cells that are going to migrate to the wounded area to effect the repairs: there is nothing more knowledgeable in healing the body than the body itself.

Acupuncture is said to use Qi, the manipulation of Qi, and I can understand this can easily sound like magic, but again, there is nothing mystical about it. We knew not to eat raw meat long before we knew why, and while much about Acupuncture is still beyond the knowledge of scientific papers and highschool-level academia, there is also much we already know about it.

Qi is simply the medicine’s equivalent to ATP – adenosine triphosphate – which transports chemical energy within cells for metabolism. It relates also to nitric oxide which helps nourish and move blood.

(Going a little more in depth with an example: If we split glucose (food) in half, it becomes two molecules of pyruvate. These go into a citric acid cycle and this cycle has the goal to generate high-energy electrons which then get distributed to the nervous system and the brain.)

Acunpucture is thus simply a way to cause this effect and thus organically stimulate the nervous system and brain, to build up ATP and repair damage made to you: the organism.
