HEALING OR DELIVERANCE IS FOR GOD'S CHILDREN
Many people desire healing or deliverance from what is troubling them be it sickness, diseases, emotional stress but Jesus revealed an important spiritual truth in Mark 7:25–30. A Gentile woman came to Him, pleading for the deliverance of her daughter who was tormented by an unclean spirit. Jesus first said, "Let the children be filled first..." because God's blessings belong to His children.
This does not mean God does not love others. Rather, He invites everyone into His family through faith in Jesus Christ.
God's greatest demonstration of love was sending His only Son into the world to save us (John 3:16). Through Christ, we are given the privilege of becoming sons and daughters of God (John1:11-12, 1 John 3:1). Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them, and they in God (1 John 4:15–17).
The Bible clearly teaches:
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9–10)
Salvation brings us into God's family, where we can confidently receive His love, grace, healing, and deliverance.

ACTION
Today, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Become a child of God and walk in the inheritance He has prepared for His children.
Confession:
Father God I know and believe in your love for me; you sent Jesus Christ your son to deliver me from death. I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord, I believe with my heart that you raised him from the dead for my justification. Thank you for saving me, I am now your child and I have the right to good health. Amen

📚Jesus Christ: Lord and Christ,

👍Certified Beyond Doubt

🚪Opening: The Anticipation
Before the tomb was ever opened for Lazarus, Martha stood in her grief and heard Jesus say the boldest words ever spoken: *"I am the resurrection, and the life... Believest thou this?"* (John 11:25-26). Her answer became the confession every believer since has echoed: *"I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God"* (John 11:27). She said this while her brother was still in the grave — faith reaching forward before the sign was even performed.
♥️The Purpose
John later tells us why he wrote his whole Gospel: *"that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God: and that believing ye might have life through his name"* (John 20:31). Every sign recorded — every miracle, every "I AM" — was chosen to bring you to the same place Martha stood: believing, and therefore living.

📢The Proclamation
Fifty days after the resurrection, Peter stands before the very crowd complicit in the crucifixion and delivers the verdict with total certainty: *"Let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ"* (Acts 2:36). The Greek word for "assuredly" — *asphalōs* — means unshaken, secure, beyond dispute. This isn't hope. This is a settled fact, sealed by the resurrection.

🥺Why This Matters Now
This truth stands supreme — above every human institution. A hospital treats the body; it cannot conquer death. A government may address poverty; it cannot free a soul from sin's grip. These are legitimate means, but they are not the Christ. King Asa forgot this — when diseased, he sought physicians only, and not the Lord (2 Chronicles 16:12), and it was recorded as failure, not because physicians are evil, but because his trust had shifted entirely away from the true Healer.

👍The Confirmation
Even in Revelation, near the end of the story, we're told: *"the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy"* (Revelation 19:10). All true prophecy — from the beginning to the end — testifies to this one thing: He died. He rose. He is Lord and Christ.

💳Closing Charge
Let it be known, without being shaken: Jesus is the Christ, and He is Lord. Trust the means God provides — but let no means replace the Master. He alone conquered death. He alone gives life. Believest thou this?

SON OF GOD
People fight for titles like President, Minister, and CEO. But there is a title greater than them all: Son of God.
Jesus inherited the most excellent name, far above angels and every earthly position.
"Thou art my Son..." — Hebrews 1:5
And when the Firstborn entered the world, God declared:
"Let all the angels of God worship Him." — Hebrews 1:6
The greatest identity is not found in earthly status, but in Christ. Through Him, those who believe are called children of God. The Highest Office and title is Son of God.

Faith · Health · Wholeness

Forgiveness of Sin Is the
First Step to Healing
Before medicine, before miracles — God addresses the deeper wound. What Psalm 103 and the Gospel of Mark reveal about the divine order of restoration.

When we think about healing, we instinctively focus on the physical — the body that aches, the diagnosis that frightens, the symptoms we long to see disappear. But Scripture consistently points us to something deeper: that true, lasting healing begins not in the body but in the soul. Forgiveness of sin is not merely a spiritual nicety — it is the gateway to wholeness.

This truth is woven throughout the Bible, but two passages make it unmistakably clear: Psalm 103 and Mark 2. Together they reveal that God's healing and God's forgiveness are inseparably linked — and that the Lord always deals with the root before the fruit.

Psalm 103 — The First Benefit: Forgiveness
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases."

— Psalm 103:2–3 (NKJV)
Notice the divine sequence King David records under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. He does not say "who heals your diseases and forgives your sins." The order is deliberate and intentional:

First — forgiveness of iniquity.
Second — healing of disease.

This is not coincidence. David, a man who had experienced both sin's devastation and God's restoring grace, understood that forgiveness is not merely a spiritual transaction — it is the very foundation upon which physical and emotional healing rests.

Sin separates us from God, the Source of all life and health. When that breach is healed through forgiveness, the channels of His blessing — including healing — are opened. Psalm 103 goes on to list five more benefits: redemption, coronation with lovingkindness, satisfaction, renewal, and justice. But forgiveness comes first because everything else flows from it.

"He forgives all your iniquities,
who heals all your diseases."
📖Psalm 103:3 — Forgiveness precedes healing. Always.
📖Mark 2 — Jesus Demonstrates the Divine Order
"When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, 'Son, your sins are forgiven you.' … 'But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins' — He said to the paralytic, 'I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.'"

📖Mark 2:5, 10–11 (NKJV)
Four friends carried a paralyzed man to Jesus, even cutting through a roof to get him there. The whole crowd expected Jesus to heal the man's legs. Instead, Jesus looked at him and said something that shocked everyone in the room:

"Son, your sins are forgiven you."

Why? Because Jesus, who sees the whole person, identified the deeper need first. The man's greatest problem was not his paralyzed body — it was his unforgiven soul. Jesus dealt with the root before the symptom.

When the religious leaders objected, Jesus used the moment to establish a profound truth: the authority to forgive sin and the authority to heal are one and the same authority. To prove His power to forgive, He healed the man's body. The physical miracle was visible evidence of the spiritual reality that had already taken place.

The man walked out carrying his mat — whole in spirit and body — because Jesus addressed both in the right order.

What This Means for Us Today
These two passages hold a powerful message for every person seeking healing — whether physical, emotional, relational, or mental:

1. Receive God's forgiveness first. Before anything else, bring your sin, guilt, and shame to God. Confess, repent, and receive the cleansing that only He can give (1 John 1:9). This is not a ritual — it is the restoration of your relationship with the Healer Himself.

2. Unforgiveness blocks healing. Jesus also taught that if we withhold forgiveness from others, we obstruct our own access to God's grace (Matthew 6:14–15). Bitterness, resentment, and grudges are not merely emotional burdens — they are spiritual barriers to wholeness.

3. God heals the whole person. Scripture never separates the spiritual, emotional, and physical. When God restores, He restores completely — spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Seeking healing without seeking the Healer leaves the deepest wound untouched.

4. Faith and community matter. It was the faith of four friends that brought the paralyzed man to Jesus. Never underestimate the power of praying, believing friends who will carry you when you cannot carry yourself.

5. Jesus still has both authorities. He who forgave then still forgives now. He who healed then still heals now. 📖 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).

A Prayer for Forgiveness and Healing
If you are seeking healing today, begin where Scripture begins — with forgiveness. Pray something like this:

"Lord Jesus, I come to You first as my Forgiver. I confess my sins and receive Your complete pardon. As You forgave the paralyzed man before You healed him, I invite You to heal me from the inside out — spirit, soul, and body. I trust in Your authority to forgive and to heal. Amen."

Then stand on the promise of Psalm 103:3 — that the same God who forgives all your iniquities also heals all your diseases. Not one or the other. Both. In His order. In His time. By His grace.

Someone Needs to Hear This Today
If this blessed you, share it with a friend or family member who is walking through sickness, guilt, or pain. God's forgiveness and healing are available to everyone — and it starts with one step toward Him.

📖 "He sent His word and healed them." — Psalm 107:20

Note: Not all ailments are because of sin but that God may demonstrate his power and make his name known:
John 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
