National Heart Hospital today commenced its Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Surgical Site Infection (SSI) Surveillance Orientation Training for both clinical and non-clinical staff.

As we conclude Hypertension Week at National Heart Hospital, we remain reminded that high blood pressure is often a silent condition many people may not even be aware of.

As part of the awareness activities held during the week, free blood pressure screenings were offered to patients’ bedsiders and escortees, alongside health talks aimed at promoting awareness, prevention, and early detection.

Today, we joined the world in commemorating International Nurses’ Day , a day to celebrate the hard work, dedication and care nurses continue to give every single day.

To our nurses, thank you for the long hours, the patience, the strength and the difference you make in people’s lives every day.

Though we could not be with one of our own physically today, we were still glad to celebrate and appreciate her with a little something, just to remind her that she is loved, valued and very much part of us.

As we conclude Nurses’ Week and look ahead to International Nurses Day on 12th May, today’s get together was a wonderful moment to celebrate and appreciate the nurses at National Heart Hospital for their dedication and tireless service. Day after day, they continue to be the heart of the hospital, offering strength and support to every patient and family they attend to.
