It's Men's mental health monthπŸ’š
Let's remember that it is okay to not be okay.
Mental health sees no gender and no man should suffer in silence.

We are happy to share the success on our first outreach in Chongwe district where we were invited by River of Life Church. We had an opportunity to have powerful conversations on Early marriages, child defilement and r**e and their link to mental health.
We also had the privilege to offer donations to the young people there.
It was exciting to see over 30 young people sit down to learn and conversate on issues that affect them.
This was more than an event, it was hope, connection and dreams being brought back to life.
We are grateful to all those that supported the event and we call upon even more supporters to help young people, " Speak. Health. Lead".

Did you know that May is mental health awareness month?

Let's get involved in breaking the silence around mental health, raise awareness and create safe spaces for open conversations on mental health.

Struggling with your mental health is not always dramatic...
It is not always chaotic to the eyes of the viewers...
And most certainly, it is not a curse or weakness...

Your mental health is more than a resource, it's where everything is birthed and therefore must be taken care of diligently.

And yes,
You too play a role in someone else's mental health and also in ending stigma;
Be empathetic, listen to others without judgement to make them feel comfortable as they open up, compliment others!

Every little thing mattersπŸ’š

YOU ARE NOT ALONE πŸŽŠπŸ’š

Did you know that May is mental health awareness month?

We are delighted to have had our first radio conversation at UNZA Radio station on the theme: Youths and mental health.

In the conversations we discussed common mental health challenges affecting young people, the role society plays in the mental health of young men and women, the importance of young voices on mental health conversations, signs that one needs help, effects of ill mental health and how to protect your mental health.

This program was meaningful to us because we believe that this mental health awareness month, the more we talk about it, the less stigma we will have in communities.

Hope you tubed in,
you are not alone,
your emotions are valid,
we love you!πŸ’šπŸŽŠπŸŒ±
