To these devoted parents and guardians, we express our deepest appreciation for your unwavering dedication to caring for your children, despite the numerous challenges you face. Providing care for a child with special needs is inherently demanding, often further complicated by specific requirements such as dietary needs that can be particularly burdensome. We assure you of our full support throughout this journey. We firmly believe that collective efforts are essential in mitigating the burdens associated with this responsibility. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to God ‼️. Today, God's providence enabled Autism Advocacy Centre, Twasanta Kanyanta-model, and Happy Minds Center for Learning and Development to make a special visit to Sangwani Community School in Chisamba, Chibombo district. Through our outreach initiative program, we successfully contributed educational materials to all learners at Sangwani Community School, including exercise books, pencils, food, and clothes. Sangwani Community School is an inclusive institution catering to both typical learners and learners with special needs. The visit proved to be a valuable opportunity for our team to engage with children and parents, addressing various issues affecting them. Key discussion points included sensitizing on inclusive education by Sante Foundation, autism awareness, mental health awareness, parental support, and disability acceptance.
