PERMANENT SECRETARY COMMENDS MINISTRY OF HEALTH EXHIBITION TEAM AS THE 98TH ZAMBIA AGRICULTURAL AND COMMERCIAL SHOW CONCLUDES

On the final day of the 98th Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show, Permanent Secretary – Technical Services, Dr. Kennedy Lishimpi, accompanied by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Media, Mr. Thabo Kawana, visited the Ministry of Health stand and toured the various exhibition stands under the Ministry.

The two Permanent Secretaries interacted with exhibitors and commended the team for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to showcasing the Ministry’s achievements while bringing health services closer to the people.

The Ministry of Health remains committed to promoting health awareness, innovation, and quality healthcare service delivery for all Zambians. We thank everyone who visited our stand and contributed to making this year’s exhibition a success.

Zambia's health sector reached a significant milestone as President Hakainde Hichilema officially commissioned the newly rehabilitated Radiotherapy and Imaging Section at the Cancer Diseases Hospital. The landmark project was fully funded by the Government of the Republic of Zambia at a cost of US$31 million

After being closed since 2020, the facility is once again providing life-saving cancer treatment to Zambians, restoring hope to thousands of patients and their families.

The Ministry of Health remains committed to strengthening healthcare infrastructure, investing in modern medical technology, and ensuring that quality, specialized healthcare services are accessible to every Zambian.
