A PSA blood test on its own can’t diagnose or rule out prostate cancer 💉

But it can be an important first step in deciding if further tests (such as MRI) are needed.
Because PSA levels can be raised by both cancer and non-cancerous prostate conditions, results aren’t always clear-cut.
That’s why it’s important to speak to your Doctor before the test to understand the pros and cons of getting tested - and again afterwards - to help you make a decision and understand your results and next steps.

A new Test for Pregnant mothers to identify risks for chromosomal abnormalities e.g Down Syndrome

PAPP-A Mass Units sandwich enzyme immunoassay designed to quantitatively measure pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A) in human serum. Used in first-trimester screening, it aids in identifying risks for chromosomal abnormalities, such as Down syndrome. This is a 75-minute total incubation time
