FAMILY OF MURDERED CHAWAMA MAN FEELS LETDOWN BY POLICE

The family of 38-year-old Shadreck Mwanza, a resident of Lusaka’s Chawama Compound allegedly murdered by a neighbor only identified as Ranger, has expressed disappointment over the alleged failure by the police to apprehend the suspect who has been on the run.
The deceased was allegedly killed on 23rd September, 2023 when he was found defecating behind the house of the suspect, a matter that triggered a fight but since then, police have not been able to locate the assailant.
In an interview the deceased’s uncle, Peter Mwanza, says the family has not found closure knowing that the suspect has not been found.
When reached for comment, Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Danny Mwale, says the matter is still an active case.
