APPRECIATION..NEW ABLUTION BLOCK COMMISSIONED
The Management and Staff of Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Zambia through the Constituency Development Fund - CDF for the newly constructed ablution block at our hospital.
We were honoured to receive the facility during the commissioning and handover early this week. The event was represented by the Ndola District Commissioner, Madam Precius Njekwa, on behalf of the Copperbelt Permanent Secretary, Mr. Lawrence Mwanza.
This new facility will:
1. Improve sanitation and hygiene for our patients, caregivers and staff
2. Help prevent waterborne diseases such as cholera and dysentery
3. Enhance dignity and comfortfor all who access our services
Clean and safe facilities are key to quality healthcare for our children.

On 4 August 2026, Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital (ADCH) Laboratory successfully underwent the SADCAS ISO 15189:2022 Periodic Assessment (Remote). We are proud to announce that our accreditation has been recommended for continuation.
Big News: Expansion of Our Accredited Scope!
1. Stool Culture, Urine Culture, and Wound/Soft Tissue Swab Culture with Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) under Microbiology
2. Electrolyte Testing under Clinical Chemistry •
ADCH Laboratory now offers internationally accredited services in:

🔹 Molecular Biology
🔹 Haematology
🔹 Serology
🔹 Parasitology
With this expansion, ADCH Laboratory proudly holds the widest accredited scope for Microbiology testing in Zambia 🇿🇲.
