*INSIGHTS ON DEATH/LOSS*
Let's explore a philosophical perspective on death, framing it not as an end, but as a natural transition, just as birth.
Here are a few of the insights to share:
A SHIFT IN PERSPECTIVE: A dying man viewed his passing as simply moving into a different room that the human form could not yet see.
The Nature of Fear and pain: It is suggested that the fear of death is a learned "program" rather than a natural instinct, noting that children do not fear it until they are taught to. While the pain comes from longing for more time to repair the broken spaces caused by unnatural living.
CYCLES OF TRANSFORMATION: Death can be compared to a seed cracking so a tree can rise, or a caterpillar dissolving to become a butterfly. Just as a wave returns to the ocean or a flame burns out while fire remains, the form or body may dissolve, but the essence continues.
LIVING FULLY: Let us encourage embracing death as a way to live more impactfully in the present. life has no opposite; while birth and death are opposites, life itself is a continuous transformation.
THE SCIENTIFIC CONNECTION: The first law of thermodynamics state that energy cannot die or be destroyed, only transformed from one form to another. Like water that evaporates into steam, then into something else, somewhere else…
Note that death does not stop us from living but instead "exports" us to another stage or assignment. Remain focused on what you're passing on and what you're leaving behind.
Death is only but a reminder that we have work to do, every life has purpose. Have courage to fulfil yours Now, for tomorrow is not guaranteed.
In memory of your loved ones that have departed, PLANT A TREE, START A CHARITY or anything that brings you peace or resolve, but most of all, look beyond their dying. Remember their strengths, the joy and lessons they brought you. There's love and strength in death.
