Rome… a journey of faith, gratitude, and grace. 🇮🇹⛪
After my time in Verbania and Venice, my journey through Italy brought me to Rome—a city I had long dreamed of visiting.
Having been raised Catholic, Rome has always held a sacred place in my heart. As a child, I learned about St. Peter, the Vatican, and the rich history of the Church. I never imagined that one day I would walk those same streets, stand in that sacred place, and experience it for myself.
Standing in St. Peter’s Square, gazing at the magnificent Basilica before me, I felt as though I was standing in the very heart of faith. Millions of pilgrims have come here through the centuries seeking hope, healing, and God’s presence. To be among them was a humbling and deeply moving experience.
One of the greatest blessings of my visit was attending Holy Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica. As prayers and hymns filled the Basilica, I was overcome with gratitude. It was more than attending a service—it was a sacred encounter that touched my soul. In that holy place, I gave thanks for my family, my journey, the people who have shaped my life, and the many blessings God has poured into my path.
Walking through Rome reminded me that faith is not only found in magnificent churches or ancient stones. It lives in our hearts, in our daily acts of love, compassion, forgiveness, and service. My Catholic upbringing planted seeds of faith, hope, and love that continue to guide me, and those values have beautifully accompanied me throughout my journey as a yoga teacher dedicated to peace, healing, and service.
I left Rome with a heart overflowing with gratitude. I carried home more than photographs—I carried home renewed faith, deeper humility, and a profound appreciation for the beauty of God’s presence across cultures, traditions, and generations.
Thank you, Rome, for reminding me that no matter where life takes us, every sincere journey toward God is a journey home.
