“Never felt so energised in my life.”

We often look outside ourselves for more energy, balance and wellbeing. Perhaps, what is needed is not more stimulation, but a way for the body, mind and energy to come into balance, from where untasted kind of energy upsurges.

Surya Kriya is a classical Hatha Yoga practice learned with precision and then carried independently into daily life.

What begins in a few guided sessions can become a lifelong tool—a way to return to yourself, again and again.

When in balance, life can unfold with a different ease.

Why do we tend to use mirrors in yoga studios?

To check the posture?
To see how far we can go?
Maybe even to see whether we are doing better than the person next to us?

Isn’t this what we often do in life too — racing with others, or racing with where we think we should already be?

Classical Hatha Yoga invites us somewhere else.

Eyes Closed.
Attention Inward.
No Comparison

Just Balance - which in turn makes us more centered and capable, inside and outside.

Sharing this the reel to find out more.

The next "Yoga Myth — Unpacked" begins with something simple yet profound: Yoga and  Silence.

Music is part of many yoga spaces today. In Classical Hatha Yoga, however, the practice is traditionally done in silence — with your attention turned inward, to the very breath that sustains life.

Not because something is missing — but because something else is being given space.

Why no music during practice?

Yoga has taken many forms over the centuries — and much of what I thought I knew, changed when I learned it in its classical form at Sadhguru Gurukulam, Isha Foundation in India.

In many yoga settings, physical adjustments are common. In Classical Hatha Yoga, the practitioner is not touched or physically adjusted.

Why?

This reel sheds light on one of the lesser-known aspects of Classical Hatha Yoga.

Yoga — a word that has taken many forms and interpretations over millennia.

What I thought I knew as yoga, changed completely when I learned it the Classical way at Sadhguru Gurukulam, Isha Foundation in India.

In many yoga settings today, physical guidance and adjustments are quite common. In Classical Hatha Yoga, the approach is different — the practitioner is not physically touched or adjusted by the teacher.

Ever wondered why?

Sharing this excerpt, hoping it may shed some light on an aspect of yoga that may not be widely known.
