Here’s a clear way to explain the Invisalign / clear aligner process to a patient 👇
The clear aligner treatment process starts with a digital scan of your teeth.
Using this scan, we create a personalized treatment plan that shows how your teeth will gradually move into the correct position.
After analyzing the case, we determine:
• The total number of aligners needed
• The estimated treatment duration
• The final expected result
Once your aligners are ready, you will receive a series of transparent trays that are custom-made for your teeth. Each aligner should usually be worn for 2-3 weeks, depending on your treatment plan, before changing to the next one.
For the treatment to work effectively, aligners must be worn 20–22 hours per day, removing them only for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing your teeth.
During the treatment, regular check-ups are necessary so we can monitor your progress and make any adjustments if needed.
At the end of the treatment, you will need to wear a retainer to keep your teeth in their new position and prevent them from shifting back.
