🎊 We are proud to announce that 251 Hellenic Air Force Hospital has achieved IASIOS Accreditation!

We want to congratulate Dr Panagiotis D. Papadopoulos and the entire team of the Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology Department as well as the Oncology and Surgery Clinics for reaching this milestone.

IASIOS Accreditation is awarded to centres that have completed a structured review of their interventional oncology practice against defined quality standards. It recognises that the team has the processes, expertise, and multidisciplinary structure in place to deliver consistent, high-quality care to their patients.

🇬🇷 We are glad to see the IASIOS network growing in Greece and look forward to continuing to support the team on their journey.

🎉 We are pleased to welcome ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda from Milan, Italy to IASIOS community as an Enrolled Centre.

We warmly congratulate Dr. Simone Bongiovanni, Dr. Alice Phillips, and the whole IR team for their commitment to complying with international standards and delivering high-quality care in interventional oncology.

ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda is also a recipient of the First Year Forward Grant 2026, an initiative supporting five European hospitals committed to strengthening and advancing interventional oncology services, kindly sponsored by Boston Scientific.

🎉 CHUM - Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal has set a benchmark for interventional oncology in Canada as the country’s first IASIOS Accredited Centre!

By achieving IASIOS accreditation, CHUM demonstrated compliance with the CIRSE Standards of Quality Assurance in Interventional Oncology, reflecting a structured approach to interventional oncology care across treatment planning and delivery, safety and quality, as well as staff and facilities.

As one of Canada’s leading academic institutions, CHUM’s achievement highlights the growing international momentum behind standardised, patient-centred IO services and the integration of interventional oncology into comprehensive cancer care pathways.
