I started teaching in this space before it became The Loft. At the time, I was working as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor, looking for somewhere to teach my own classes.
When COVID hit, our little community kept showing up for outdoor and online classes. Later, I was offered the opportunity to take on the space permanently, and that’s how The Loft was born.
As my own practice has evolved over the years, so has the studio. Today we’re an incredible team of ten offering more than thirty classes each week, and I’m endlessly grateful for the community we’ve built together.

What has becoming an instructor taught you?
Teaching has helped me discover my purpose. It has shown me that my way of serving the world is by helping people come home to themselves. I believe we’re here to live deeply, love well, care for one another, and move through life with more presence, compassion and connection. If my classes can help people experience even a little more of that, then I feel like I’ve done what I came here to do.
What are you learning about at the moment?
My bookshelves are usually filled with psychology, philosophy and yoga, but right now I’m having so much fun learning Indonesian before my next trip.
If you had a slow morning to yourself, how would you spend it?
Tea and a book in bed with my phone off, then movement and sunshine and a moment to practice gratitude, self-love and remind myself why I’m here.
What’s something people might not know about you?
I’m a black belt in Taekwondo 🥋
