Recently, our Exercise Physiologist Lauren took the stage at The Education Edit, hosted by Sculpt Season, and what a day it was. 🙌
Surrounded by some truly high-calibre names in Pilates education, Lauren presented to South Australian Pilates instructors on a topic close to our hearts: pre- and post-natal Pilates.
Lauren covered everything from physiological changes, intra-abdominal pressure and supine exercise guidelines, to pelvic girdle pain, abdominal separation, pelvic floor dysfunction and DeQuervain’s, giving instructors the toolkit they need to feel confident supporting their clients through pregnancy and early motherhood.
Alongside a powerhouse lineup of speakers covering positive language, spinal movement programming, tactile cueing, progressive overload and strength principles on the reformer, the day was filled with networking, connection and a shared passion for helping people move well.
Thank you Sculpt Season for creating a space where education, connection and community all come together. SA’s Pilates community is in great hands. 💙
