Save the date for this months Born Ready, our two-hour comprehensive workshop where one of our women’s health physiotherapists will teach you and your birth partner all the tools to manage the symptoms of labour, optimal birth positions, and how to have the most efficient birth you can. If this sounds like the support you need heading into birth, you can book via the Born Ready website— but hurry, as spots are strictly limited! 🤍

Your Voice Matters: Senate Enquiry Into Women’s Health

Whether you’re a healthcare provider, a mum navigating recovery, or someone who’s wished there was better support after birth - your story is evidence.

Many of us have silently dealt with:

• Incontinence that nobody talks about
• Pain that was dismissed or normalized
• Lack of proper postpartum care and rehabilitation
• Feeling forgotten in our recovery

This is the moment to speak up.

If you’ve experienced postpartum challenges or know what better care looks like, consider making a submission to the Senate enquiry. Your voice helps shape the healthcare system for every woman who comes after you.

Head to https://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Committees/Senate/Womens_Health/WomensHealth

Every story matters. If you don’t know how to start, we would love to help. Reach out via DM 🤍

Together, we can change what postpartum care looks like in this country. 🤝

Over the past 10 years, we’ve seen conversations around women’s health shift in ways we could have only hoped for.
Topics that once felt taboo are now discussed openly. Women are asking more questions. They’re expecting better care. And more women are prioritising their health— not because it’s selfish, but because it’s important.
We’ve been incredibly privileged to witness that change, and to play a small part in it.
This September, we’re celebrating ten years of raising the baseline for women’s health. Not just as a clinic, but as a community.
SAVE THE DATE: Saturday 12th September.

If you’ve ever made progress with vaginismus, then hit a rough patch and felt like you were back at square one… you haven’t failed.

Here’s what we know from treating this for years: for many people, the missing piece isn’t doing more. When anxiety is driving the presentation, pushing through pe*******on (even with a dilator) can actually reinforce the threat response rather than resolve it. The nervous system is trying to protect you, so our job is to work with it, not against it.

Pe*******on is often not the real goal. Connection, pleasure and feeling at home in your body—those are the real goals. And when we focus there first, the rest tends to follow. So if you’re stuck in the cycle and wondering whether there’s a different way forward: there is 🤍

We’ve written a post on the blog breaking it all down — find it via the link in bio.

We’re hiring— and we’re open to the right fit 👀

We’re looking for a Physiotherapist OR Group Instructor to join the Ivoryrose team.

Tell us about you, what you’re looking for and what your ideal working week could look like. We’re looking for someone who can commit to 3 days a week, including weekend work, but we’re flexible about what those days and hours could look like. We’re open to the conversation, because we want to work out what works for both of us 🤍

What matters is you’re passionate about women’s health, movement and community. So if you’re a physio or group instructor and think you could be a good fit for Ivoryrose, reach out and let’s start the conversation!
