And somewhere in the back of your mind, the old deal is on the table again — smash yourself into the new week. Punish your way back into shape. Pay for the weekend.

Here’s what most people never stop to question: training that wrecks you isn’t discipline. It’s just more noise in a life that already has enough of it.
