Every family impacted by cancer deserves access to trusted support, quality care and the right information when they need it most.

This Daffodil Day, gpex recognises the healthcare professionals, researchers, educators and organisations working across Australia to improve cancer prevention, screening and early detection.

Through our education partnerships across bowel, cervical and lung cancer screening initiatives, including the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program, the Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer and Lung Foundation Australia, gpex helps translate evidence into practical education and resources for frontline healthcare professionals.

By building knowledge, confidence and capability, we can support more informed screening conversations, encourage participation and help create opportunities for earlier detection and better health outcomes.

It is one way we are making knowledge matter, supporting the health workforce to turn education into action and contribute to stronger preventive healthcare and population health outcomes.

This Daffodil Day, we acknowledge everyone working to reduce the impact of cancer in our communities.

Join gpex for a free five-part Project ECHO® series designed to support primary healthcare professionals in promoting healthy ageing and optimising the management of chronic conditions.

Delivered online via Zoom, each interactive session brings together primary healthcare professionals and subject matter experts to explore practical approaches to identifying early signs of decline, supporting proactive care planning, managing complexity, and helping older people remain healthy, independent and connected to their communities.

Through short expert presentations, case-based discussions and peer learning, participants will gain practical knowledge, share experiences and build confidence in addressing common challenges encountered in primary care.

Become part of a collaborative community of practice and help improve outcomes for older people and those living with chronic conditions across the Adelaide PHN region.

August 26, 2026 – December 2, 2026 | 6.30 pm – 7.45 pm | Online via Zoom

This free five-part series is the first phase of a broader ten-session Project ECHO program, with a further series planned for 2027.

This Project ECHO series has been made possible through funding from Adelaide PHN

Introducing the next chapter for gpex!

We have refreshed our brand and strategic direction to reflect what we do best - making knowledge matter.

For more than 20 years we have crafted learning in environments where precision and real-world capability matter deeply. Our foundation in medical education taught us that learning must be evidence-based, carefully tailored, human-centred and designed for the health and wellbeing environments people actually work in. This is complemented by our long-standing work in models of care, including over two decades leading GP Obstetric Shared Care, connecting education with real-world practice and supporting continuity of care for women and families.

We are not simply delivering education. We are strategic partners, translating complex health knowledge into practical learning experiences that work in the moments that matter most. Because when learning is thoughtfully designed, it does more than transfer knowledge. It transforms performance, confidence and care, helping people and communities thrive.

Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.
