There's something powerful about kids connecting in nature. Social growth happens around campfires, in the ocean, on walking trails, throwing a ball, sharing in laughter, stories and new adventures.

Our programs are designed to help young people build social skills, confidence and independence through outdoor adventure and shared experiences.

Every child deserves to feel included, capable, connected - THIS.

“Worried about sending your child with the ‘right’ things?”

We hear this a lot from parents and carers. The truth is—packing is just one small part of the experience. What really matters is knowing your child is supported by experienced staff, in a structured environment designed to help them:
• Build independence
• Connect with others
• Try new activities with guidance

We’ll help you prepare ahead of time, answer your questions, and make sure you feel confident before the program even begins.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Message us to talk through what to expect and whether a program might be the right fit.

We took a group of young adults to Tamborine Mountain and honestly? The mountain did most of the work 😄🌿

Four days of good people, fresh air, and activities that were equal parts adventure and "wait, I actually loved that."

Here's what went down:
🌳 Walked through the treetops (yes, up high — yes, everyone survived)
🧺 Enjoyed some very well-deserved picnics outdoors
💧 Hiked to Curtis Falls and Cedar Creek Falls (worth every step)
🦜 Got up close at a bird show and explored heritage sites

No two days looked the same, and that was kind of the point. Good vibes, real connections, and a few people who definitely didn't want to leave on the last day.

Sound like your kind of thing? Our next Young Adults programs are coming up soon — head to our website and grab a spot before they fill up! 👇

If your child loves the outdoors… they’ll get along with Maddi pretty quickly 🌿

Meet Maddi — one of our Program Coordinators who brings energy, adventure, and a genuine love for the outdoors into every program 🌿

With experience as a bushwalking and kayaking instructor, Maddi knows how to create environments where participants can step outside their comfort zone, build confidence, and connect with others through shared experiences.

She’s all about learning through doing — whether that’s exploring nature, trying something new, or simply being part of a supportive group.

Outside of programs, you’ll probably find her with her dogs (Charlie & H**e), training for kickboxing, or planning her next adventure.

Fun fact: even though she’s Australian, her accent sometimes says otherwise — thanks to growing up overseas 👀

It’s mentors like Maddi who help create programs that feel supportive, engaging, and meaningful for every participant.

Behind every great program is someone like Sharon 👇

With over 10 years supporting youth with disabilities (and 20 years in the Army 👀), Sharon brings a mix of calm, structure, and genuine care to every program she’s part of.
She’s the kind of mentor who takes the time to really listen — understanding each participant, supporting their goals, and helping them build independence in a way that feels safe and achievable.

Whether it’s encouraging social confidence, guiding group activities, or just being a steady, supportive presence, Sharon creates an environment where young people feel respected, included, and capable.

Also fun fact: she casually walked 870km on the Camino Frances… so yes, your kids are in very capable hands 😄

At Access Adventure Club, it’s people like Sharon who make our programs what they are — supportive, structured, and genuinely impactful.

If you’re looking for a program where your child is supported by experienced, down-to-earth mentors who actually care…

A few days in Riverland… and a lot of meaningful moments.

Our recent Riverland Young Adults program wrapped up with plenty of shared experiences, new connections, and time spent outdoors.

Participants spent their days:
• Creating tie-dye shirts
• Tubing and building confidence in the water
• Kayaking as a group
• Getting to know each other through shared activities

What stood out most wasn’t just the activities. It was the way participants connected, supported each other, and stepped into new experiences together.

These are the moments that help build:
✔ confidence
✔ independence
✔ social connection

We’re grateful to our participants and support staff who made this program such a positive experience for everyone involved.

If you’re exploring options for upcoming programs for young adults, we’re here to help.
