If you were to look behind the scenes over the last few weeks, you’d see our teams busy working on our upcoming renewal audit.

As an NDIS provider who delivers higher-risk and complex nurse-led supports, we are required to undergo a comprehensive on-site audit, including interviews with clients and staff, every three years.

For our clients, this means peace of mind, knowing your care is safe, qualified and focussed. And that is always worth the work.

All the while, our support workers are working hard with clients, making sure everyday support continues on seamlessly.

Grateful for all those who make up our Help at Home community.

As October begins, you may start to notice changes to your NDIS funding when your plan is reassessed, reviewed or renewed.

While funding for essential supports, such as personal care and high intensity supports, may not be affected by these changes, some participants may see changes to their funding for community participation supports.

If you have an upcoming plan review or reassessment, it’s important to understand what the changes could mean for you, your current supports and the options that may be available.

At Help at Home, we’re here to support you through these changes. We can help you understand your new plan, consider how any funding changes may affect your current supports, and explore available options and safeguards where possible.
You do not have to navigate the changes alone. We’ll work with you to help you understand what they mean for your supports and plan ahead.

Karina, one of our nurse Care Coordinators gives us a high level glimpse into the role and how she supports clients.

But the role goes beyond coordinating supports. Our nurses work closely with you, your family and your wider support network to take a holistic approach to your care, while also providing guidance and oversight to the Support Workers delivering your day-to-day support.

Having a nurse as your Care Coordinator gives you peace of mind as your support is shaped around your health history, routines, risks, goals and day-to-day needs.
