Join Wound Innovations for the Fundamentals of Wound Management Workshop, a full-day, face-to-face education session designed to strengthen practical knowledge and confidence in wound assessment and management.

The workshop will cover:

Meet Sam 👋

Sam is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Wound Care, supporting patients and healthcare professionals across South Australia.

With almost 15 years of nursing experience, including more than a decade working in aged care, Sam brings extensive clinical knowledge and a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Sam has been part of the Wound Innovations team for the past four years, providing specialist wound care across residential aged care and community settings. His areas of expertise include wound management, continence care, palliative care, infection prevention and control, and the management of age-related health conditions.

Alongside his clinical role, Sam is passionate about building the knowledge and confidence of other healthcare professionals. He has played an important role in developing and delivering Wound Innovations’ education programs across aged care, community and other healthcare settings throughout Australia.

Known for his compassionate, approachable and patient-centred manner, Sam is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while supporting and empowering the clinicians around him.

Any additional wound requiring specialist assessment should be included in the referral information before the consultation.

Providing details about each wound in advance helps the clinician understand what needs to be assessed and prepare appropriately for the appointment.
