Meet Jenny 👋
Jenny is a Clinical Nurse Specialist based in Queensland, bringing more than a decade of experience in stoma therapy and wound management across acute, community and outpatient healthcare settings.
Her passion for wound care began while working as a Registered Nurse in general surgery and colorectal services within Queensland Health, where she developed extensive experience in stoma care, acute wound management, negative pressure wound therapy and the management of complex wounds.
Jenny has completed a Graduate Certificate in Stomal Therapy and a Master of Wound Care through Monash University, further strengthening her specialist knowledge and clinical expertise.
Throughout her career, she has held Clinical Nurse positions in Stomal Therapy and Wound Management for more than 10 years and has also worked as a Venous Leg Ulcer Nurse Navigator. This experience strengthened her interest in community nursing and the importance of continuity of care across different healthcare settings.
Jenny has worked closely with high-risk foot clinics, podiatrists, orthopaedic teams, NDIS participants, carers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care.
She is passionate about evidence-based wound management, education and clinical collaboration, and enjoys mentoring registered nurses and stomal therapy students to help build their confidence and knowledge.
Since joining Wound Innovations, Jenny has continued to focus on improving wound care outcomes by partnering with healthcare professionals and aged care providers to deliver specialist clinical support, education and evidence-based wound management solutions.
For Jenny, one of the most rewarding parts of her role is seeing a patient progress through their wound healing journey and knowing that the education, guidance and compassionate care provided has helped contribute to better outcomes.
