👄 Breathing through your mouth might seem harmless… but over time it can impact more than just your sleep.

Mouth breathing has been linked to:
😴 Poor sleep quality
🧠 Brain fog and fatigue
😮‍💨 Dry mouth and bad breath
😬 Changes in jaw and facial development
⚡ Reduced oxygen efficiency

Your body is designed to breathe through the nose. Nasal breathing helps filter, warm, and humidify the air while supporting healthy oxygen delivery throughout the body.

If you constantly wake up with a dry mouth, snore, or find yourself breathing through your mouth during the day, it may be worth paying attention.

Small habits can have a big impact on your health over time. 🌿

💬 Have you ever noticed yourself mouth breathing? Let us know below.

Your body is connected in more ways than you might think.

Fascia is a network of connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, joints, organs, and nerves throughout the body. When it becomes restricted or tense, it may influence how you move, feel, and function day to day.

That’s why at Wildflower Wellness Studio, we take a whole-body approach to care. By considering how your body moves, adapts, and responds to stress, we help support better movement, comfort, and overall wellbeing.

✨ Move with greater ease
✨ Support healthy mobility
✨ Improve body awareness
✨ Feel your best in everyday life

Inflammation is not the problem you think it is 🌿

We have been taught to fear inflammation.

But in most cases, it is not the issue itself. It is a signal that your body is responding to stress, load, or imbalance.

When we start to understand what the body is responding to, we stop chasing symptoms and start seeing patterns in energy, digestion, pain, and recovery ✨

This small shift changes how you relate to your health.

It is not about fighting your body.

It is about understanding it 🌱

You don’t need to feel calm to be regulated.

Regulation is not about staying relaxed all the time. It is your body’s ability to respond to stress and then return to balance ⚖️

Most people try to force relaxation. But the nervous system does not work through force. It works through safety.

When your body feels safe, tension starts to release on its own. You do not push it. You support it.

At Wildflower Wellness, we support this process through care that considers how your body moves, adapts, and responds to stress for you and your family. 🤍

Most people think headaches start in the head…
but that’s not always the full story.

Headaches can often be linked to tension, stiffness, or restriction in the neck and upper spine — especially with long hours at a desk, stress, or screen time.

At Wildflower Wellness Studio, we look at how your body is moving and adapting as a whole, not just where symptoms appear.

Because when headaches keep coming back, there’s usually a pattern behind it.

Sometimes our body can’t distinguish whether the pain is coming from the head or the neck 👀

That’s because many of the nerves in the neck share pathways with the nerves in the face and head especially the trigeminal nerve.

So when the neck is tight, irritated, or under stress, the brain can interpret that pain as a headache or even migraine-like symptoms.

This is why neck tension, jaw tightness, posture, and nervous system dysfunction are often overlooked pieces of the puzzle 🌿

Your “migraine” might actually be your neck asking for attention.

Normal tongue posture ✨

The tip of the tongue should rest right behind the two front top teeth, while the body of the tongue sits gently and fully against the roof of the mouth.

This supports:
✔️ Nasal breathing
✔️ Better posture
✔️ Reduced jaw tension
✔️ Proper oral resting posture

Low tongue posture may contribute to mouth breathing, forward head posture, jaw discomfort, and neck tension and might be the missing link to your neck pain.

Small daily habits can have a big impact on overall wellness 🌿

Half of us are taking magnesium… but why are we actually taking it? 👀

It’s because magnesium plays a key role in how your body feels and functions every single day.

It supports:
✨ better sleep
✨ muscle recovery
✨ stress and anxiety regulation
✨ nervous system balance
✨ energy production

But here’s the thing… many people don’t realize they’re low in it until they start feeling the effects.

Sometimes the “tired, stressed, can’t switch off” feeling isn’t just lifestyle… it can also be what your body is missing. 💧
