Ararat Physiotherapy We are a privately owned and run physiotherapy clinic in the beautiful town on Ararat in Western Victoria.

We specialise in musculoskeletal injury prevention, management and rehabilitation. We offer our services to local businesses and sporting clubs. The physiotherapists at APHS aim to deliver expert care for a variety of sporting and non-sporting injuries in both adults and children. Whether it is a sporting injury, work related problem, neck or back pain, headache, fracture, sprain or strain, Ararat

Physiotherapy & Health Services will take care of you. Our team are hands-on, highly trained and motivated to ensure that you receive the appropriate assessment and treatment strategies, enabling you to achieve a speedy and safe recovery from your injury. We also aim to help you prevent reoccurrences of your problem, and therefore you will receive other strategies including exercise and education to help better manage and prevent these recurrences. Physiotherapists are primary contact practitioners, meaning you do not need a referral to attend our clinic, nor do you need have medical imaging completed before you attend an appointment.

We forget the importance of regular breaks, and end up holding tension through our neck, shoulders and back ❤️‍🩹 If this sounds like you, here are some helpful time to help you sit smarter and move better tomorrow 🙌

✔️ Feet flat on the floor
✔️ Hips back in your chair, shoulders relaxed, neutral spine, arms level
✔️ Top of screen at eye level
⏳ Regular breaks, get those steps up, stretch your muscles

We are excited to officially welcome Lauren to the Ararat Physio team! Lauren has an impressive list of qualifications, and is passionate about continuing her learning and professional knowledge. Lauren will be working alongside our practitioners as an Allied Health Assistant, regularly popping into Clinical Classes as well as the occasional reception work 🙌

An exciting new chapter for Jane ✈️

As many of you know, Jane is heading off on a very exciting new adventure overseas!! Jane has been an integral part of Ararat Physio team, servicing our rural community, treating hundreds of clients, and being such a bubbly positive person to cross paths with ✨

Whilst we are so sad to see Jane go, we are incredibly proud of her for following her dreams 🥰 Jane’s last day in the clinic will be this Friday, the 17th of April 💛

At the end of last year Ararat Physio was proud to introduce a Bursary to be awarded to a young person under the age of 25, to assist them follow an Allied Health Pathway 🙌

We are excited to share and give A BIG congratulations to our TWO bursary winners, Layla Dale and Bella Belcher 💛

Both Layla and Bella are at different parts of their studying and professional careers, and we feel very lucky to be able to assist them on there next steps forward! We wish you all the best girls 🤝✨
