Today I’m attending training to learn more about the developing infant gut microbiome and why it’s beneficial to support baby bugs. 🦠🌱

Keeping up to date with the latest research and professional education is an important part of what I do, so I can continue to bring evidence-based information to the families I support.

Parenting is wonderful, messy, and exhausting. Sometimes a simple “Are you OK?” and a genuine conversation can make all the difference.

To all the parents out there.. a reminder that you don’t have it all together. On those days that you are struggling, it’s OK to ask for support 💛

Happy World Breastfeeding Week !
This year’s theme, “Breastfeeding for a sustainable start in life: Strengthen what works,” reminds us that when families are supported, everyone benefits.

Did you know that while 96% of Australian mothers start breastfeeding, only around one-third are exclusively breastfeeding at six months ?

Every family’s feeding journey is unique. It’s vital that we support parents without judgement. A huge part of that is providing services that are accessible, and knowing when to refer should further help be necessary. Collaboration and continuing care can make such a positive impact.
