I want to chat about something so many of us are experiencing right now. Existing in the liminal space between identities. Our old identity no longer exists, but the new one isn’t quite online yet.
I’ve spent most of this year sitting here. Desperately wanting to get to the other side. I wanted clarity. Direction. Momentum. Answers.
Instead, I got liminal space. Nothingingness.
That weird place where the person you used to be doesn’t exist anymore, but the person you’re becoming isn’t quite here yet either.
I’ve pushed against it, tried to think my way out of it, slowed down, done the work, pushed again and eventually put my hands up and surrendered.
And it turns out there's been a hell of a lot for me to learn here.
About... Scarcity. Leadership. Business. Money. Parenting. Self-sabotage. Boundaries. People-pleasing. My worth. My patterns. Myself.
I’m not completely out the other side yet, not even close. But for the first time, I can feel her, I can see her and she's started coming through in my dreams at night. What's does she look like? Strong and soft. Confident and humble. Absolutely certain of who she is and what she's here to do. Unapologetically herself. Very aware of her power and the world and wisdom that exists within her.
And i think I finally understand that I wasn’t supposed to rush through this part. Maybe this was the part that has been preparing me to meet her.
Anyone else living somewhere in the messy middle right now? What's been the hardest part for you?
