Remember the F.A.S.T. signs:

🔹 Arms – can they lift both arms?
🔹 Speech – is their speech slurred?
🔹 Time - is critical. If you see any of these signs, call 000 straight away.

Some symptoms can include:

Looking after your bone health is important, especially as we get older.
We're pleased to welcome the Bone Bus to our practice on:
📅 Monday 31 August 2026
📅 Tuesday 1 September 2026
The Bone Bus provides bone density (DEXA) scans to help assess your bone health and screen for osteoporosis.
You may benefit from a bone density scan if you:
✔️ Are over 70 years of age
✔️ Are a post-menopausal woman
✔️ Have had a previous fracture from a minor fall
✔️ Have a family history of osteoporosis
✔️ Take long-term steroid medication
✔️ Have other risk factors for low bone density

If you think you may be eligible, book an appointment with one of our GPs to discuss a referral.
