Well... this is a little belated! πŸ˜…

Whilst we were away enjoying the Easter break and enjoying a few to many choccys, we realised... we officially turned 3!!! πŸŽ‚βœ¨

If you're new around here- Hello and Welcome!

We are a registered NDIS provider here in Ballarat run by 3 owners with extensive experience in the sector and a strong focus on being trauma informed in everything we do. We started this all around a kitchen table with textas, butchers paper and a thought "surely we could this".

We obtained our registration last year and haven't stopped since!

So, what services do we provide here at AssistU?
- Support Coordination Level 2
- Community Based supports
- In Home Supports
- SIL (Supported Independent Living)

Anyway we just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past 3 years. Your support means everything to us and it's what has allowed AssistU to grow into what it is today.

We're so excited for what's ahead and hope to continue growing and expanding, so more participants can experience a leading trauma-informed NDIS provider in Ballarat who truly understands.

Here's to 3 amazing years...and many more to come ✨

Hello everyone, and welcome to 2026!

We know we’ve been a little quiet lately, but we’ve been busy behind the scenes planning some exciting things for the year ahead and of course enjoying the beautiful Ballarat weather while it lasts β˜€οΈ

We’re also excited to share that we have a brand new Support Coordinator who has recently joined our team! She’s currently settling in and getting to know how AssistU works. Keep an eye out for an upcoming post where we’ll introduce her properly!

As we take some time to recharge after a jam packed year and reflect on what has been a massive 2025, we just want to say thank you.

2025 has been a year of incredible growth for AssistU Care and Support Services. Welcoming lots of amazing new support workers, a few support coordinators, student placements, and growing so much that the office is getting a little squishy πŸ˜„

Along the way, we’ve said hello to many new faces, and also goodbye to some who have been part of our journey, each of you has played a role in shaping who we are today, and we are truly grateful.

This year we’ve celebrated many special days, attended countless networking events, shared many coffees, proudly sponsored fantastic awards across the Ballarat community, and even shared our message of trauma informed care with whoever we met along the way.

In the midst of it all, we also reached a huge milestone- 1,000 followers πŸŽ‰ Thank you for being part of our growing online community.

Be sure to check out our annual ugly Christmas sweater with Santa photo and also our Christmas Party πŸŽ…πŸŽ„ better late than never!

We can’t wait to come back bigger and better next year as we head into a big 2026!

with gratitude,
Abigail, Sally and Bridie xx
