We are locally owned and operated, with our training centre located in Ballarat Servicing Victoria, First Aid Training Group aims to provide an exceptionally high standard of hands-on, interactive, meaningful and most importantly confidence-boosting training to all of our participants. Training is facilitated exclusively by industry professionals, all with years of real-life experience such as Paramedics, Fire Fighters, Emergency First Responders and Nurses. We conduct regular courses in all levels of first aid for all groups and often customise training to suit the needs of our clients. We employ a very different approach to training through highly interactive blended styles. Our courses captivate and empower participants through confidence-building coaching from start to finish. 🖤 ONE FOOT FORWARD – MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS 🖤

Today marks the final day of the Black Dog Institute’s One Foot Forward challenge, raising vital funds and awareness for mental health.

We are incredibly proud to share that together, we have:

💰 Raised over $1,000 to support mental health initiatives.

👟 Completed over 637 registered kilometres throughout October!

We are coming to Warrnambool this Monday (2nd November) and not too late to join us at the Archie Graham Community Centre for nationally accredited Low Voltage Rescue (LVR), First Aid, CPR and Extinguisher training.

October is Shocktober month, we want people to be confident in how to use a defib if needed, for October all CPR/First Aid course that are booked receive a $20 discount per person.
CPR - $45 (normally $65)
First Aid (including CPR) $125 (normally $145)

Whether you're updating your qualifications for work or learning lifesaving skills for the first time, our experienced trainers will help you build the confidence to respond in an emergency.

October is Mental Health Awareness Month, the team at First Aid Training Group are taking part of the one foot forward we are walking, moving, exercising every day this month to help the Black Dog Institute fund research and advocacy. We are halfway through and so far, clocked up 465kms of planned movement!

1 in 5 people will experience a mental health issue every year, and over 3000 people will die by su***de, these numbers are massive. Someone you know may be struggling without you even knowing. You don't need to talk about mental health. Just build a connection. One conversation can save a life.

First Aid Training Group offer a one-day session in apply first aid in mental health. In this course you will learn how to pick up signs that someone may be struggling, how to start conversations and support the person.

Our next course is November 28th at our Wendouree location.

First Aid Training group will be now running sessions every two months to the public for the nationally recognised courses in first aid management of anaphylaxis and management of asthma, both courses go for 2 hours each.

*Please note HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid does cover both anaphylaxis and asthma these courses are for people needing more in-depth knowledge and training on these topics.
