What a wonderful long weekend at Krishna Valley! 🙏🌿🐄
We were delighted to host a retreat for many of the dedicated volunteers from our Hare Krishna Melbourne community. It was a beautiful opportunity to slow down, reconnect with Krishna, spend time in nature, and enjoy the association of devotees.
The long weekend also brought many visitors to the Valley, with families and guests enjoying the chance to meet our beloved cows and experience the peaceful atmosphere of farm life. Seeing so many people connect with the cows and the natural beauty of Krishna Valley is always inspiring.
There was plenty happening behind the scenes as well. Work has commenced on our new outdoor dining area, which will create an even more welcoming space for future gatherings and events. Meanwhile, Atulya was busy crafting beautiful essential oil rollers, sharing the benefits of natural wellness with our guests.
With winter arriving, we also spent time planting winter vegetables in the gardens, preparing for the seasons ahead and continuing our efforts towards sustainable living.
This weekend was also a reminder of the cycle of life. We said farewell to Sita Priya, the very first calf born at Krishna Valley. She was a gentle and much-loved member of our herd and has touched the hearts of many devotees and visitors over the years. We offer our gratitude for her life of service and pray for her continued journey under Krishna’s loving care. 🌸🐄
Thank you to everyone who visited, volunteered, and helped make the weekend so special. We look forward to welcoming you back to Krishna Valley soon.
