It’s been wonderful to see the impact of our Sensory Programming Workshop already reflected in practice, with new ideas being explored, greater confidence in supporting sensory needs, and continued growth in creating inclusive learning environments for children.

We’re so grateful to the Feilman Foundation for making this program possible for childcare educators.

Two of our staff recently attended the Professionals and Researchers in Early Childhood Intervention - PRECI Conference in Adelaide.

Lots of practical conversations, fresh perspectives, and valuable reminders about why we do this work. It reinforced that as an organisation, we’re on the right track and using best practice while also giving us space to step back, refocus, and strengthen key parts of our approach.

And of course, it was also nice to enjoy some time out over good food and good company. ✨ ✨

What a great night!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the 2026 Kids Are Kids! Quiz Night – our prize donors, sponsors, volunteers and all who came along.

With your support, we raised over $18,000, which will go directly towards improving the spaces, equipment and resources our team uses every day with children and families across Rockingham.

We really appreciate the support on the night. Events like this are only possible because of the generosity of our community and the local businesses who support what we do.

Thank you!

Our Stan Perron supported Play Group is in full swing at our new home at Wungong Primary School and it has been wonderful to see families connecting, building relationships, and growing together each week. 💛

Through the program, our team has been able to share information across speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and psychology, answer parents’ questions around child development, and provide support tailored to each family’s needs.

We have also assisted several families with accessing services.

We are so grateful to the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation for the opportunity to collaborate with Jump Carey Early Development to support families in such a meaningful way.

We’re thrilled to be named a beneficiary for 2026!

Our Executive Officers, Teresa Barrie and Lisa Hoffman, had the pleasure of attending the recent Telethon Giving Ceremony Breakfast alongside this year’s fellow recipients.

This funding enables us to deliver our life changing Strong Start program to schools in the Armadale and Kwinana regions. The program identifies children at developmental risk and provides early intervention and support. The program also upskills school staff to support vulnerable children better in the future.

We extend our sincere thanks to Telethon7 Perth and the wider WA community for their ongoing generosity and support.
