On Friday, our annual Therapy Scholarship Panel came together to award a record 23 Therapy Scholarships.

Thank you to our partners and sponsors for making this program possible. Your support means more Western Australian children can access the therapy they need.

Families will be notified in the coming weeks.

We were so grateful to be hosted by Wungong Primary School for our Kids Are Kids! Professional Development Day. A day of learning, connection and a little bit of magic!

Our team spent the day exploring regulation and participation, building our understanding of the sensory, communication, cognitive and emotional factors that help children thrive. We also reflected on how we can better support ourselves and each other in this important work.

To celebrate our values, Diverse Minds, Bold Moves, staff took part in a Harry Potter-inspired Sorting Ceremony and Hogwarts Games. After some fierce (but friendly!) competition, House Gryffindor took home the House Cup!

Thanks to the support of the Department of Communities, Kids Are Kids! delivered workshops in Broome that helped parents, caregivers and educators better understand children’s behaviour through a relationship-based, developmental lens.

The positive response has highlighted the need for more practical, community-focused support programs across rural and remote Western Australia.

At Kids Are Kids!, we believe supporting our team is just as important as supporting the children and families we work alongside.

That's why this year, every staff member received two Wellness Days to rest, recharge and do something they enjoy.

From Rottnest adventures and beach walks to massages, baking and café catch-ups, it has been great to see the many ways our team has made the most of their days. 💙
