As a yoga teacher, it’s not about knowing everything
or teaching everything.
It’s about creating a space
for growth, exploration, and connection.

It’s about guiding yogis on their own unique journeys and empowering them to discover their own wisdom and inner truth.

A yoga teacher doesn’t need to have all the answers or be a master of every pose or philosophy.
Instead, we hold space for yogis to explore and learn
from their own experiences.
We provide guidance, support, and inspiration, but ultimately, it’s the students who uncover their own insights and make their own discoveries🧘🏼‍♀️

As a yoga teacher, it’s not about being the all-knowing guru.
It’s about being a facilitator,
a guide, and a source of inspiration.
It’s about creating a space for yogis to learn, grow, and connect with themselves and others.
It’s a beautiful and humbling role that allows both the teacher and the students to embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation together 🙏🏿🧘‍♀️🧡

It doesn't need to.
It moves like water—
quiet, persistent,
carving beauty into the hardest places.

& that can mean “Lurgies"

Using your own Kitchen Pharmacy 🌱

❄️ Cardamom For Congestion
Cardamom is fabulous for the respiratory system and is really good at helping with coughs and blocked sinuses.
The effect is instant.
Blocked nose and congested chest courageously chewed a green cardamom pod with instant effect.

❄️ Cloves For Sore Throats
Cloves have anesthetic and antiseptic qualities instantly numbing a sore throat.
There’s something about cloves that you have to chew them, you can’t just swallow them whole, so the saliva travels down the throat numbing it along the way – perfect!

❄️ Cinnamon For Coughs
Cinnamon not only calms the convulsions of the cough but also works to burn the ama that is creating the congestion
You just need a small amount. Break it off and chew well. It tastes sweet and a little bit spicy.
Cinnamon bark if you have it, is even better. It calms the spasm of coughing instantly.

❄️ Magic Herb Mix
And the last thing I wanted to share for lurgies that helps coughs, runny noses, congested sinus and sore throats is a paste of herbs you mix with raw honey.
❄️ ¼ teaspoon each of the following ground herbs:
Cardamom, Cinnamon, Turmeric, Black Pepper, Ginger.
Mix it with raw honey and lick it off the spoon.

❄️ It help's with infection, inflammation and congestion – and you can even use with little ones.
Have a warm drink of water afterward to help it be digested.
Remember never cold water, especially if you
have congestion, as cold anything makes it worse.

❄️ Keeping The Lurgy At Bay by using a small amount of these herbs in your cooking most days will help to keep your respiratory system strong and healthy.
❄️ Put 1/4 tspn in your porridge, cooked apples, chai tea - whatever you're eating and keep you & the whole family well.

Making Moon water and charging our crystals & Malas are beautiful rituals 🙏🏿 that help us slow down, set intentions, and connect with the rhythms of nature 🌕✨

🌕 Why Make Moon Water?

Moon water is water left under the light of the full moon to absorb the energy and symbolism of the lunar cycle.

Many people use moon water as a reminder of:

* intuition
* reflection
* emotional healing
* letting go
* new intentions

Whether you see it as energetic, symbolic, or simply a mindful ritual, it invites us to pause and connect with ourselves.

✨ How to Make Moon Water

1. Fill a glass jar or bottle with fresh water.
2. Place it outside or on a windowsill where it can receive moonlight.
3. Set an intention such as:
✨ “ May this water hold peace, clarity, and wisdom.”
4. Leave overnight during the full moon.
5. Bring it inside the next morning.

You can use it to:

* water your plants 🌿
* add to a bath 🛁
* anoint your wrists before meditation
* place on your altar
* bless your home
* drink your moon water

💎 Why Charge your Malas & Crystals?

The full moon is traditionally associated with cleansing and renewal.

Placing malas & crystals under the moonlight is believed to:

* clear stagnant energy
* refresh their vibration
* amplify intentions
* reconnect them with nature’s cycles

✨ How to Charge malas & Crystals

1. Gently clean your malas& crystals.
2. Place them outside or on a windowsill under the full moon.
3. As you place them down, set an intention:
“May they be cleansed, renewed, and filled with positive energy.”
4. Leave overnight.
5. Collect them in the morning.

🌿 A Full Moon Ritual for Yogis

Before bed:

* Light a candle
* Take a few deep breaths
* Write down what you are ready to release
* Place your moon water, Malas & crystals outside
* Offer gratitude for the lessons of the past month

Then simply let the moon do what it has always done…

Reflect light into the darkness and remind us that every cycle contains both letting go and beginning again 🌕✨
