Looking back on a very special evening at the Prologic Skincare Australia Conference.
I was incredibly honoured to be recognised as a finalist in three categories:

To be acknowledged alongside so many talented and passionate skin professionals from across Australia was a privilege in itself.
As a sole trader, moments like these are a wonderful reminder of why I continue to invest in education, evidence-based practice, and personalised client care. Every treatment plan, every skin journey, and every result is made possible because of the trust my clients place in me.
While I didn’t take home an award this year, I left feeling inspired, grateful, and proud of the work we do every day at Lakeside Skin Therapy.

Prologic Skin Care Australia Conference 2026 | Day 1 Recap 🤍
It’s taken me a little longer than planned to share these highlights from the Prologic Skincare Australia Conference. It’s been a busy week back in clinic, and I’ve absolutely loved seeing all of your familiar faces again.

Reflecting on Day 1, we explored some fascinating topics including menopause and skin health, the skin microbiome, barrier function, and the powerful connection between the brain and skin.
One of my biggest takeaways was the reminder that skin doesn’t function in isolation. Hormones, stress, inflammation, immune health, and our skin barrier all work together, influencing how our skin looks, feels, and functions every day.
The conference reinforced something I am incredibly passionate about: treating skin holistically and understanding the underlying factors that contribute to healthy, resilient skin.

I’m so grateful for opportunities like this to continue learning, growing, and bringing the latest evidence-based skin knowledge back to Lakeside Skin Therapies and to each of you.

Thank you for keeping me busy since returning, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤍

Running a small business in a beautiful town like Beechworth, this means so much to me. To be recognised on such a large scale while working from a small regional community is incredibly special, and something I’m so grateful for.
