Every Wednesday night 6-7pm. We gather to draw, sketch and make marks. Sometimes itโ€™s traditional and sometimes itโ€™s a contemporary evening of exploration. We provide all the art materials and a light filled cosy art studio space. We put on some music or listen to the rain. Sometimes we have conversations in between drawing about art, life and creating. Sometimes we just sit in our own creative space. We change up the themes and focus each week. The idea is to slow down and make something. Itโ€™s a little bit social if you want. Itโ€™s mostly about you having some time to yourself while you scribble. Dead Flowers Society welcomes all ages and levels of ability in this dynamic inclusive class. Contact us [email protected]. Booking essential ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒป๐ŸŽจ

Our next upcoming printmaking workshop is Experimental Intaglio Etching. Unlike traditional metal plate etching this technique is fast and expressive, uses no chemicals or acids and yet produces amazing etching results! We will be using Tetrapak plates to create prints of your ideas, drawings and mark making. Learn all about this contemporary etching approach, the materials and tools to use, what inks and mark making you can apply to experiment and create fine art prints ready to frame. You will also learn to use our etching press and as a bonus we are going to show you how to make your own print press ( suitable to print Lino, monoprint and etching) to use at home very affordably so you can keep on printing. All high quality art materials and expert tuition are provided so you can create a small suite of prints. The class size is small and open to any level of creative experience and anyone 12+. Held in Bellingen at the light and cosy art Stables Sunday 19th July 10-1pm. $75 pp Bookings are essential and you can contact us at [email protected] thanks ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽจ
