A Walk Down Memory Lane
Did you know our beautiful Trinity Garden was established back in 2010?
Designed by residents Bernice Dobson and Jacque Cole, the garden has blossomed over the years thanks to the dedication of our wonderful resident volunteers. Today, it provides many of the flowers and foliage used in the beautiful displays throughout the Enclave.
A photo book capturing the garden's journey from the very beginning is now available for Residents to browse in the library. It's fascinating to see how both the garden and Pepper Farm Drive have changed over the years!

NEW FESTIVAL DATES ANNOUNCED.

The Berry Writers' Festival will now take place on 6–8 November 2026.

Following the confirmation of another major event in Berry on our original festival weekend, we have made the difficult decision to move dates.

This was definitely an unexpected disruption to our planning.

Our priority has always been to deliver an exceptional festival. After careful consideration, we believe moving the writers' festival is the right decision for our audiences, authors, sponsors and supporters; ensuring every conversation, event and venue can be enjoyed exactly as intended.

We appreciate many supporters have already made arrangements to be part of our festival and we sincerely apologise for any concerns these new dates cause.

While our dates have changed, our vision remains exactly the same. We are working on what will be our most ambitious festival yet, filled with outstanding writers, thought-provoking conversations, new ideas and memorable experiences.

The revised dates also mean Berry will now host both the Berry Writers' Festival and the Red Hot Summer Tour across separate weekends, providing two wonderful opportunities for visitors to enjoy arts, culture and entertainment in our town this spring.

We would like to sincerely thank our authors, sponsors, donors, volunteers and supporters for their flexibility, understanding and goodwill throughout this process. Your support has reinforced what makes Berry Writers' Festival so special.

So update your calendars, start planning your Berry getaway, and make sure you're subscribed for program announcements and ticket release information that will start to flow very very soon.

We enjoyed a lovely morning with delicious sandwiches, fresh scones and Biggest Morning Tea-themed cupcakes, all shared over a cuppa in support of the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea.

Around 60 residents and guests gathered in the Enclave to celebrate and raise funds for this wonderful cause. A big thank you to our residents and local businesses for their generosity with donations; it truly made the morning special.

It was a fantastic event and a great opportunity to come together as a community!

Janet Devlin, one of our Residents, recently visited Nowra East Public School to present the new kindergarten students with their book packs as part of the Books in Homes initiative that The Arbour supports each year. It was a joy to see the children’s faces light up as they opened their bags filled with brand new books.
Later in the year, the students will visit The Arbour to read to the Residents, continuing this wonderful program.

As part of continuing professional development, members of our team at The Arbour participated in First Aid training offsite with South Coast First Aid this week. The course was informative and practical, providing hands on experience learning CPR and even basic wound and sprain management. Thank you to South Coast First Aid for sharing such invaluable knowledge and keeping our skills up to date.

Celebrating our wonderful community at The Arbour Berry this Seniors Week!

From Bridge and Choir to Sketch & Chat, Ukulele, Mah-jong, craft and table tennis, there’s always something happening in the Enclave to keep our Residents active, creative and connected. It’s all about enjoying great company and making the most of village life.
