Got something to tell us? We’re listening. 💬

We’d love to hear about your experience at Walker St General Practice!

What are we doing well? What could we do better? Your feedback helps us understand what matters to you and how we can continue improving your care.

📝 Take our anonymous patient survey: http://cfep.net.au/raGaL3

After our last survey, we replaced the low waiting-room sofa with chairs. Your feedback helped us make a change, and we’d love to hear what we can improve next!

Prefer paper? Copies of the survey are available at reception.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your thoughts. Your feedback also supports our practice accreditation.

As the weather warms up, remember to make hydration part of your daily routine.

Water needs vary from person to person and can change with the weather, activity levels and individual health circumstances.

A few simple habits can help:

Keep water within reach throughout the day.

Drink regularly, especially when you're active or spending time outdoors.

Take water with you when heading out.

Pay attention to thirst and how you're feeling.

If you have a health condition that affects how much fluid you should drink, follow the advice provided by your healthcare professional.

💧 Looking for support with your health and wellbeing? Your GP can help you work through your questions.

Mental health matters every day, not just during Mental Health Month.

Sometimes, changes in how we feel can be easy to brush aside. Maybe you've been feeling more stressed than usual, struggling to sleep, feeling low, or finding it harder to enjoy the things you normally would.

You don't need to wait until things feel overwhelming to ask for support. Checking in with yourself and talking to someone you trust can be a good place to start.

If something doesn't feel right, your GP can help you talk through what you've been experiencing and discuss the support that may be available.

💙 You don't have to figure everything out on your own.

Throwback Thursday | A fresh approach to cosmetic medicine

We're looking back at The Fold's feature on Dr Jason Kim and his approach to cosmetic medicine at Walker St General Practice.

For Dr Jason, it's all about understanding the whole person, setting realistic expectations and providing personalised, medically informed care. His philosophy? Less is more — helping people feel comfortable in their own skin while keeping their individual health and wellbeing at the centre of every decision.

The article also explores Rejuran, a treatment offered at our practice for those interested in improving skin quality.

Curious about Dr Jason's approach? Have a read of the full feature!

💙 A little connection can go a long way.

October is Mental Health Month, a good reminder to check in with the people around us — and ourselves.

A message, a quick phone call, a coffee together, or simply asking someone how they’re really doing can make a difference. You don’t always need the perfect words. Sometimes, just being there and listening is enough.

And if you’ve been feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or not quite yourself, remember that support is available. You don’t have to go through it alone.

Need someone to talk to? Your GP can help you work through changes in your mood, sleep or general wellbeing.

Your mental health matters, and you don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to ask for help.

If you’ve noticed changes in your mood, trouble sleeping, or just haven’t been feeling like yourself lately, it’s okay to reach out. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly what’s wrong to start the conversation.

Your GP is here to listen, help you understand what you’re experiencing, and work with you on the next steps.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.💙

**TO CONNECT 💙**

Looking after your health can start with something as simple as a conversation.

Whether it’s a health concern you’ve been putting off, a question about your reproductive or sexual health, changes to your menstrual cycle, contraception, menopause, pregnancy and family planning, or simply a check-up you’ve been meaning to book — talking to your GP can help you take the next step.

At Walker St General Practice, our Women’s Health Clinic offers personalised care across many stages of life, including **Well Women’s Checks, cervical screening, breast checks, contraception, menopause care, endometriosis management, sexual health and more.**

You don’t need to have all the answers before making an appointment.

**Sometimes, you just need to start the conversation.**

**WOMEN’S HEALTH WEEK 2026 💙 | TO BREATHE**

We’re joining Women’s Health Week a little later, but there’s still plenty of time to make your health a priority.

Today’s theme is **To Breathe** — a reminder to pause, check in with yourself and make space for your mental wellbeing.

Life can be busy, and it can be easy to put your own health at the bottom of the list. But if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, exhausted or simply not quite yourself, **you don’t have to wait until things become too much before reaching out.**

Your GP can be a good place to start a conversation about how you’re feeling and what support might be right for you.

**This Women’s Health Week, do it anyway. Take a moment for yourself. 🌿**
