An enchanting evening celebrating the very best of Queensland's medical profession 🌿✨

On Friday night, members and guests gathered for AMA Queensland's Dinner for the Profession, where we officially welcomed Associate Professor Erica Gannon and Dr Sarah Coll as our new President and Vice President, recognised outstanding award recipients, and celebrated the leadership, innovation and dedication that continue to shape medicine across our state.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Immediate Past President Dr Nick Yim for his leadership, advocacy and commitment to Queensland doctors over the past two years.

Thank you to our MC, Dr Chadden Hunter, whose inspiring stories perfectly complemented this year's enchanted forest theme.

Thank you sponsors

AMA Queensland President Erica Gannon — and many of our other superstar Doctors — are wearing their craziest socks as part of today.🧦A simple but powerful reminder that behind every doctor is a human being who also needs care, support and understanding.

The pressures of medicine, from long hours to emotional strain, can take a real toll, and it’s vital we continue to break down stigma and create a culture where doctors feel safe to speak up and seek help🧠💬.

We’re proud to be supporting the Prince Charles Hospital Crazy Socks 4 Days day event this morning, which includes a Puppy Play Break from 10 – 12 pm. We hope you can join us!
