Yes you can have a surgery, have no lymphatic drainage and still have amazing results, of course our bodies are amazing machines.
But coming from the experience of treating hundreds of patients, I have witnessed firsthand the complications a lot of people face when they do not recover proactively and prioritise what happens after surgery.
Of course everyone is different, some are very lucky and get very minimal swelling and downtime and they are straight back to daily life in a couple months, but then others have a rollercoaster of a time with pain, swelling or worse, so it’s down to you what road you want to go down but I know if I am spending on average 10-20 thousand pounds on surgeries i want to maximise my results and minimise complications
Also as much as lymphatic drainage helps with the lymphatic system, hands on treatments in the weeks following surgery helps to add this skin stimulatory benefit which i have personally witnessed relieve a lot of pain and even regain skin to brain connection allowing the brain to get sensation back faster to the operated areas
If you would like to understand this more or have questions then feel free to drop me a message to discuss this further or book in your post op lymphatic plan
Thank you
