Some days in motherhood feel full of connection, laughter, and little wins.
And some days feel like you're running on empty.
If you're feeling the mid-term exhaustion right now juggling school lunches, activities, appointments, work, and everything in between this is your reminder:
You don't need to be a perfect mum for your child to feel safe, loved, and connected.
From an OT lens, it’s not the “perfect moments” that shape development…It's the everyday moments of showing up, offering comfort, sharing a cuddle, listening, and reconnecting after the hard moments.
These small, ordinary interactions build emotional safety and connection over time.
If you're feeling stretched thin this week, be gentle with yourself. Your presence matters more than perfection, and you're likely doing far better than you think.
And remember, you weren't meant to carry it all alone. We're here to support not just your child, but you too.
