By mid-year, most people are still showing up. Still getting things done. Still ticking things off the list.

But getting through the day isn’t the same as having something left in reserve. There’s a difference between coping and actually having capacity - and that difference shows up in your energy, your tension, your motivation, and how your body feels when demands don’t let up.

If you’ve been running on empty for a while and just pushing through, swipe through. 👉

Looking after your body doesn’t stop when you leave the clinic. 🙌

Treatment is one part of the picture. Staying active and keeping your body moving outside the clinic matters too. 💪

Your body doesn’t stop when something isn’t working. It reroutes.

That ni**le in your knee that appeared out of nowhere. The hip that started aching after you rolled your ankle six months ago. The shoulder tension that doesn’t seem connected to anything.

It probably is connected. Your body is just very good at finding a detour - and after a while, the detour becomes the default route.

That’s compensation. And it’s clever, until it isn’t.

Recurring aches or stiffness that keeps moving around? It might be time to stop chasing the detour and find out why the road closed in the first place.

That ni**le in your neck. The tightness that keeps coming back in the same spot. The feeling that one side of your body just works differently to the other.

Most people assume these things are just part of life. What’s actually happening is that your body has been quietly working around something - and the place you feel it isn’t always where the problem started.

Compensation patterns are incredibly common and most people don’t realise they’re doing it. Swipe through to see what they look like, why they develop, and what tends to keep them going. 👉

You’d call a mechanic the same day your car makes a noise. But the neck pain you’ve had since May? She’ll be right.

We don’t think twice about servicing our cars. But the one body we’ve got tends to get the ‘deal with it later’ treatment - until later becomes six months down the track.

If something keeps coming back, it’s worth getting checked sooner rather than later.

Save this as your mid-year reminder. 🔖

That stiff neck you’ve been ignoring since March? Your body hasn’t forgotten about it.

Most of us adapt to small aches without realising it - we sit differently, move less, quietly drop the things that feel uncomfortable. The problem is that ‘I’ll deal with it later’ has a way of turning into months.

If something keeps coming back, it’s worth paying attention to. Swipe through to see what we mean. 👉

Cold weather doesn't bring old injuries back. But it can change how your body responds to movement, temperature, and stress - and that adds up over a Melbourne winter.

If something that felt fine in summer is suddenly aching again, it's not your imagination. Reduced movement, increased muscle tension, and changes in barometric pressure can all influence how familiar pain feels.

The good news is most of it is manageable with small, consistent habits - not a complete overhaul.

Swipe through to see what's actually going on and what may help. 👉
