Healing is Hectic but worth it!
For a long time, I believed love meant leaving pieces of myself behind.
I abandoned my own needs to keep the peace. I abandoned my own truth to preserve connection. I abandoned my own fire while hoping someone else would finally choose me.
But somewhere along the way, I realised something.
Every time I left myself... I taught the world that I could be left.
So these past two years haven't been about learning to live without love.
They've been about learning not to abandon myself.
To become someone who remains.
Someone who honours her own heart. Someone who tends her own Sacred Flame. Someone who understands that mutuality is not too much to ask.
Today, I choose differently.
I choose what chooses me.
In love.
In friendship.
In family.
In community.
In purpose.
Because the way I treat myself becomes the way I quietly teach others to treat me.
And perhaps that is one of the greatest legacies we can leave.
Not perfection.
Not performance.
But showing our children, our community, and the generations that follow that love never asks us to abandon ourselves in order to belong.
May they inherit a different way.
May they learn that a whole heart does not chase belonging...
It becomes a place where belonging begins.
I honour that I am finally becoming someone I would never leave.
And from that place...
The only thing I've ever wanted when i was younger in life was for my children and sister and my nieces to be safe.... Is now a reality..
If you ever needed a reminder to remember who is watching its now, your eco system watches how you allow people to treat you and then it acts accordingly ✨️ 😊 😉
