Himalayan Community Care Services Free BBQ - Cairns Disability Network

Himalayan Community Care Services is excited to invite you to the Cairns Disability Network Expo at Raintrees Shopping Centre on Tuesday, 18th August 2026.

FREE BBQ served from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your workmates… even bring that one friend who never says no to food!

Come along, enjoy a delicious BBQ, meet our friendly team, connect with the community, and have a fantastic day out. We promise plenty of smiles, great conversations, and absolutely no washing up afterwards!

Recently, two of our wonderful participants,celebrated their birthdays, and it was a joy to share these special occasions with them.

It is a privilege to support both AR and SR on their journey towards greater independence and to walk alongside them as they work towards achieving their NDIS goals. Witnessing their progress, determination, and the joy they bring each day is truly rewarding.

It was also heartwarming to see their family members join in the celebrations, both in person and virtually. Their love and encouragement are a wonderful reminder of the importance of family and community in every person's journey.

From everyone at Himalayan Community Care Services, we wish them a very Happy Birthday! May the year ahead bring you both good health, happiness, new achievements, and many reasons to smile.
