Select Support Services currently has capacity for NDIS community nursing support across Cairns, Innisfail, Mareeba and the Tablelands.

Our nursing team supports participants with practical, person-centred care, including:

• Clinical assessments
• Medication support
• Wound care
• Diabetes monitoring
• Care planning
• Health education
• Complex and high-intensity support needs

In disability support, the small details matter — changes in health, behaviour, comfort, routine or confidence can all tell part of the story.

National Sorry Day 🖤💛❤️

Today means something.

Through the people we support, we’ve come to understand that the impact of the Stolen Generations isn’t just history — it’s still felt, still carried, and still part of people’s lives today.

We work alongside First Nations participants every day, and those relationships are shaping how we learn, how we listen, and how we show up as a team.

We don’t claim to have it all right — but we are taking the time to understand, to build real awareness, and to do better where it matters.

Today is a chance to stop, reflect, and acknowledge that.
