June is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month 🍎

Every year thousands of Australians are diagnosed with bowel cancer, and thousands of families are impacted by its effects, making bowel cancer is one of Australia’s most common cancers. Yet when detected early it is also one of the most treatable.

Staying aware of symptoms like changes in bowel habits, blood in stool or unexplained weight loss are important, however not everyone experiences symptoms which is why screening is so important.

If you have concerns about your bowel health or screenings, you can book an appointment with any of our available doctors via wgs.net.au.

A conversation today could make all the difference tomorrow.

Today is World No To***co Day. 🚭

Quitting smoking is one of the most important steps you can take for your health, no matter your age or how long you’ve been smoking. But it can also be one of the hardest.

You don’t have to do it alone. Your GP can provide support, discuss treatment options, and help you find a plan that works for you.

If you or a loved one is thinking about quitting, visit wgs.net.au.

His books are currently open, and appointments can be made via our website at wgs.net.au.
