To be invited into a family home filled with memories, love and family connection, is a privilege we never take for granted. There is something truly special about gathering at home to share stories, reflect, and celebrate a life so meaningfully lived.

Mother’s Day can be one of the most beautiful days of the year… and one of the hardest.

For some, today is filled with flowers, phone calls, hugs around the kitchen table, and hearing Mum’s voice on the other end of the phone. For others, it’s a quiet ache. A day that gently reminds us of someone deeply loved and deeply missed.

At Quinn Funerals, we are reminded every day just how powerful a mother’s love is. It lives on in the little things. In recipes written by hand, in sayings we catch ourselves repeating, in traditions kept alive, and in the way someone’s care can continue to shape a family long after they’re gone.

If today feels heavy, you are not alone. And if today is joyful, hold those moments close.

To every mother, grandmother, step mum, mother figure, and to those remembering one with love today, we’re thinking of you.
