We are committed to creating a community that both encourages interaction and collaboration and shows respect for others. Quinn Funerals are currently seeking applications for the role of Casual Funeral Director's Assistant to join our team.

The hours of work will vary week to week and will require the successful applicant to participate in our after-hours rotating roster.

This role includes:
- Working as part of a team
- Assistance during funeral services
- Availability for the after hours on-call rotating roster
- Assist with transfers of the deceased into our care

The successful applicant ideally will be:
- Comfortable working in a funeral environment
- Hold a current full unrestricted drivers license
- Honest, mature and reliable
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Fit and able to perform manual tasks
- High level of presentation, maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance.

Funeral industry experience is highly regarded, however, not required. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Passed away peacefully at Colac Area Health, surrounded by her family on June 1st 2026. Beloved wife of Robert. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Jack, Julie, Ken, Joe, Missy, Linda and their partners. Adored Nan to 13 grandchildren and Great Nan of 13 great-grandchildren.
